Today is the day our Indian Pueblo bill gets marked up in the Senate! This bill will return almost 10 acres of land to the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center in Albuquerque. Grateful to our colleagues for their bipartisan support for this bill and the IPCC—which is right in the heart of our community!
This is the reality inside ICE detention centers. Children are being forced into jail-like conditions while this Administration strips away their basic human rights. We cannot allow this stand. We must hold this inhumane Administration accountable!
It’s past time to BAN CONGRESSIONAL STOCK TRADING!  No member of Congress [or the White House] should be trading stocks. Period. The American people deserve to know their representatives are working for them, not corporations and stock portfolios. It’s time to ban Congressional stock trading.
¡Feliz cumpleaños, to our dear friend and colleague @repgabevasquez.bsky.social !🎈🎂🎁 Proud to fight alongside you for New Mexico, our public lands, our people, and the future of our communities. Wishing you a wonderful and joyful year ahead!❤️
An honor to join a beautiful afternoon hearing from Dr. Jill Biden and Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham on the power of women in leadership, what it means to be a woman in leadership and public service, and Dr. Biden’s memoir on her time as First Lady. ❤️
I’m proud to co-lead the CDC Tribal Public Health Security and Preparedness Act in the House alongside Sen. Warren, to ensure Tribal public health departments have direct access to federal funding and invest directly in Tribal-led public health programs.
We LOVE being home in New Mexico and serving our communities!  Thank you all for coming out this week to see us and for all of the important conversations, collaborations, and leadership across the District. We can’t wait to see all you in the coming weeks! <3
Tribal schools are the heart of our communities & students deserve the resources they need to thrive. This week, I introduced the Indigenous Students Excel Through Parity Acts, which will help increase student funding, teacher pay, & ensure BIE & Tribal schools receive the resources they deserve.
It’s Fiesta season across New Mexico! Honored for our team to join Chillili Land Grant for the Fiesta San Juan Nepomuceno and the Matachine Danzantes de la Sierra today. It was a beautiful day in the East Mountains! #culture #tradition #fiestas #danzantes #matachines #NewMexicoTrue
Happy Back-to-School Month! 📚✏️🚌 As students and families gear up for the school year, we wanted to let folks know city of Albuquerque is holding a back-to-school supply drive today and tomorrow. Free school supplies are available to students in the ABQ area! ⬇️ www.koat.com/article/albu...

The Pueblo of Isleta and Pueblo de Cochiti are receiving more than $2.1 million to strengthen recycling infrastructure and keep our communities clean for generations to come. This is what investing in Tribal communities looks like! So proud to see these federal resources coming home to New Mexico!❤️
