Two more American service members’ lives have been lost in a war that never should have happened. My heart & prayers are with their families, loved ones, & all those still missing & injured. 💔 It is long past due for my colleagues across the aisle to stand up and stop this war and end the violence!
But make no mistake—his motives are much more insidious as we head into the November elections—as he seeks to cast doubt over the integrity of our election system. Which is why we have to continue to organize, mobilize, & vote like the future of our democracy depends on it—because it does. (2/2)
People are afraid to leave their homes. Parents are afraid to take their kids to school. Families are afraid go shopping. This cannot go on. We cannot allow this country to become a surveillance state. We must hold this Administration accountable.
Lorenzo Salgado Araujo Joan Sebastian Guerrero Ruben Ray Martinez Alex Pretti Renee Good Dozens of other innocent lives. These deaths aren’t mistakes. They’re the result of choices. Policy choices. Funding choices. Choices to not hold this Administration accountable. It’s time to SHUT. IT. DOWN!
Art is an act of resistance and a way to share our stories. It was an honor to join Downwinders and experience the art & stories shared at the Nuclear Past, Present, and Future exhibition at the National Hispanic Cultural Center. We will always stand with our Downwinders in their fight for justice!
Trump promised jobs and factories would “come roaring back into our country.” Since then, over a MILLION people have left the job market. Inflation is sky-high. The Global economy is tanking. And Republicans have completely abandoned working families. It's time for a New Deal for America.
Another week in NM for the books! The most joyful part of this job is spending time with all of you across NM-01! Thank you to everyone who came out & shared your stories, hopes, & dreams for our future with our office. We take everything back to DC to help guide our work in our nation's capital! ❤️
Our Delegation is demanding a Congressional investigation and hearings into allegations that the federal DEA allowed hundreds of thousands of deadly fentanyl pills to flood into NM streets. I won’t stop until those responsible are held accountable. @fernandez.house.gov @repgabevasquez.bsky.social
Happy 100th birthday to Route 66! What was once a vital trade route across the U.S. is now an iconic part of our history. In NM, Route 66 is more than just a road—it’s a place of gathering, culture, and connection. Thank you to Dr. Romero and ABQ Museum for telling the stories of our home. ❤️
Every person deserves due process and to be treated with dignity and respect. This is why we opposed giving a blank check to ICE. It is inhumane, un-American, and just wrong. And it is why we must continue to fight for an immigration system that is fair, humane, and worthy of our values.
