A year ago Republicans passed their “One Big Beautiful Bill.”  The Big Ugly Bill put almost 90,000 New Mexicans at risk of losing Medicaid and 15 rural hospitals on the chopping block. We already have a healthcare crisis in every community across our state.
On this anniversary of the Civil Rights Act being signed into law—we're reminded that democracy only moves forward when people have the courage to speak up, & push this country forward. Fight continues today & we'll keep going until every single person in America can live with freedom, & equality!
Happy Birthday to my sister from the North, Rep. Teresa Leger Fernández! ❤️ Proud to serve alongside such a fearless leader who shows up for New Mexico every single day. Wishing you the happiest birthday and an incredible year ahead! ❤️🎂🎈🎁
We love our postal workers! Rain or shine, they show up to deliver live saving medication, mail in ballots, and everything in between.  To our postal workers: we stand with you and will keep fighting back against Trump’s efforts to privatize USPS. Thank you for everything you do!
To every member of our LGBTQ+ community: you are seen, you are loved, and you make this world brighter.     And, we want to be clear that Pride isn't just something we celebrate in June—Pride is every day! We will never stop fighting so you can live out loud as your full, authentic selves. ❤️🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️
Today, I voted YES to release the names of Members of Congress who used taxpayer dollars to settle sexual misconduct and other misconduct cases in Congress. No more abuses of power and no more hiding behind a system that shields perpetrators. We will always fight for justice for survivors—period.
We need to GET 👏 BIG 👏 MONEY 👏 OUT 👏 OF 👏 POLITICS! 👏 What the Supreme Court just did is green-light millions more dollars to flood into politics. That is not free speech, & when we take back the House this November, it’s time to get big money out of politics and bring the power back to the people!
At the heart of today’s decision by the Supreme Court (and so many) is whether LGBTQ+ rights are civil rights protected by federal law. The answer is YES—and we will keep fighting until it is clear this is the law of the land! 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️
