4. There's a villain in the story and it must be told that way. Fossil fuel's climate denial fraud and dark money corruption are full-on villainous and we should say so.
3. Major economic damage is coming as climate risk wallops home insurance, and cascades into mortgage market failure and property values crash. Buckle up.
2. There's one path left to climate safety, and it's making polluters pay the costs of their pollution - nothing else will work. Free-to-pollute must end.
My pitch at COP in Belem:
1. Trump doesn't speak for our country on climate; he's the agent of fossil fuel - indeed, the corrupt agent. He speaks for them, his big donors, not for Americans.
Leaving Belem. Sweet that someone still thinks they would care.
No mention of the Saudi personal deal with Trump letting family pocket millions?

The guy who pled the Fifth lets his goons in without standard polygraph. That’s our FBI.

A lot of progress is being made at COP. Too bad the US isn’t part of it.
Embarrassing that the US is on this list. UCLA and Carbon Mapper are doing great work to expose wasteful methane pollution.

MAGA gets to line up at the MAGA Bondi lunchline for big handouts of taxpayer money, as “settlements.” What a racket.

I sure hope the judge lets discovery go forward on vindictive prosecution while she deliberates unlawful appointment. Otherwise, we’ll never find out the full facts.

The Great Climate Insurance Collapse is coming. Fossil fuel corruption blocks Congress from responding to it, or in some cases even from seeing it.

Want climate fairly considered in Congress? Stop Big Oil’s multi-billion dollar campaign of dark-money corruption and lies. Start by pointing out the largest fraud and corruption campaign in U.S. history.
Want innovation on fossil fuel emissions? Give innovation a revenue proposition by stopping “pollute-for-free.” “Pollute-for-free” was always wrong morally and economically; it has now become actually dangerous.
