📣This is what democracy looks like!
Outside the State House in Providence, proud to see so many Rhode Islanders saying in one voice: #NoKings.
We will not stand by while Trump and Republicans attack freedoms, rights & opportunity.
Energetic #NOKINGS crowd in Tiverton. ❌👑
Glad to see people from communities of all sizes come together to say NO to Trump’s chaos.
My statement on House Republicans voting to continue the Trump DHS shutdown ⬇️
House Republicans have the power to do the right thing and end the havoc they’ve wreaked on hardworking TSA agents and traveling Americans.
What will House Republicans do? Will they choose to help or hurt the American people?
I think you know the answer.
TSA officers are keeping travelers safe despite working without pay. Essential workers like them deserve better.
I’m heading back to Washington to fight to end Trump’s government shutdown, pay TSA officers, and get accountability for communities targeted by his ICE and Border Patrol.
Progress can be delayed, but never denied.
Joined the RI Foundation’s Black History Month Celebration to recognize the contributions of Black Rhode Islanders and honor Jo Eva Gaines, a lifelong educator and public servant from Middletown.
Always grateful to join regional leaders with the New England Council.
Glad to share updates on my work in Washington to lower costs, expand opportunity, and ensure Rhode Islanders have the support they need.
Here’s Trump's plan for the week:
⛽️Drive up gas prices
💵Hold federal workers’ paychecks hostage
🗳️Make it harder for Americans to vote
🪖Deploy his paramilitary force to airports
💣Continue his illegal war with Iran without a plan
How is this putting America first?
Victims of violence should never have to walk the path of healing alone.
Proud to have secured $311,000 in federal funding to expand the Nonviolence Institute’s Victim Services Program for crisis intervention & long-term support services.
Great to cheer on Rhode Island’s hardworking first responders in the Providence Firefighters Local 799 March Madness Basketball Tournament to support Providence Youth Sports Programs.
From the court to our communities, they are always giving back!
Rooting for Atlantic 10 Champion Rhody Rams Women’s Basketball, as they make their return to the big dance for the first time in 30 years!
Let’s go, URI! 🐏🏀 #MarchMadness
Joined @zerlinamornings.bsky.social to discuss Trump’s dangerous and illegal war in Iran.
The takeaway? He has no end game, and Americans are paying the price at the pump, at the grocery store, and our service members are paying with their lives.
LIUNA public sector workers proudly support our state and I was proud to welcome a few of their members to my office in Washington!
As a member of @laborcaucus.house.gov, I’m fighting to stop Trump's attacks on federal workers' collective bargaining rights and the NLRB.
Voters deserve to know who is funding our elections.
It’s time to pass @whitehouse.senate.gov’s DISCLOSE Act and expose the billionaires and corporations secretly buying influence.
Trump laid off essential State Department staff and left Americans stranded in a war zone he created.
In @houseforeign.bsky.social, I demanded Trump’s plan to rehire the experts & public servants he fired so we can keep Americans safe.
Trump’s health care cuts mean people struggling to pay for coverage are buying fewer groceries.
And Trump will spend more on a war of choice with Iran than it would have cost to extend the tax credits & stop this pain.
Failure at every turn.
Happy St. Joseph's Day, Rhode Island!
Today, we celebrate faith, Italian heritage, and community. Enjoy tasty zeppole from a bakery near you!
Trump and Congressional Republicans would rather let ICE and Border Patrol keep terrorizing communities than pay TSA agents, Coast Guard members, and other hardworking federal employees.
Spoke with Aaron Parnas about ending Trump’s shutdown and holding his masked paramilitary force accountable.
House Republicans are forcing TSA agents and other federal employees to work without pay rather than rein in ICE and Border Patrol.
@housedemocrats.bsky.social are working to reopen DHS without giving another penny to Trump's masked paramilitary force terrorizing our communities.
