For today’s Day of Action, I wanted to share some stories of Rhode Islanders with disabilities who would be devastated by Republican cuts to Medicaid:
The Trump administration’s chaotic foreign aid freeze forced RI-based Edesia Nutrition to layoff staff and scale back production of lifesaving humanitarian aid.

It’s about values — seniors shouldn’t live in poverty.
Congress must protect Americans who paid into Social Security and deserve its financial security & stability.

Far too many seniors in Rhode Island have been the victim of scams, which is why I’m working to crack down on those who seek to take advantage of them and their retirement.

4/ When the #SocialSecurityFairnessAct was stalled, I helped force a vote to repeal penalties that robbed public service employees of their benefits.
Our RI delegation pushed for this law which has benefited 7,000+ Rhode Islanders & returned $50M+ in retroactive payments.
