Today, in Financial Services Committee, I made it clear: our job in Congress is to fight for job creation, affordability, and housing for all Americans. We have a responsibility to our constituents - and I'm holding my Republican colleagues accountable.
Honored to return to the 44th Annual March of Dimes Gourmet Gala as a five-year Legacy Chef, sharing my “Mom’s Sweet Potato Pie With a Twist!”—a tribute to my mother and family legacy. Most importantly, I was thrilled to support the March of Dimes mission to improve the health of mothers and babies.
I am proud to announce that my bill H.R. 3709 which provides critical resources to small banks, unanimously passed the House and now awaits Senate passage. This is a critical step forward to empower the small banks that our communities depend on. 🎉
I am so thankful for the hard work of #TeamBeatty's Spring 2026 interns, Sophie, Ava, Yasmine, and Valentina, and I was proud to officially recognize them in Committee! These young women have done well helping us serve OH-03, and we wish them the very best in their future endeavors!✨
I was proud to celebrate the 2026 Congressional Art Competition winners with professional artist Lance Johnson and President of the King Arts Complex, Corey Favor. A huge congratulations to the winners, Me’Kayla, Sean, Sara, and Morgan! Your work continues to inspire our Columbus community. 🎨
Recently, I had the tremendous opportunity of speaking at the Grand Boulé Public Policy Committee Economic Summit, hosted by Sigma Pi Phi Fraternity Incorporated. It was a pleasure speaking about how Democrats are advancing economic empowerment for Black communities.
Today, we honor the women who raised us, the women raising the next generation, and the women who quietly hold their families together through it all. Your love shapes our communities and our country. Wishing all who celebrate a very happy Mother's Day. 💐🤍
¡Feliz Cinco de Mayo! Today we celebrate the resilience, culture, and contributions of Mexican Americans who continue to shape our communities and our country every day. #CincoDeMayo
As Financial Literacy Month comes to a close, here's one last tip to take with you: identify your goals, prioritize what matters, and take control of your financial journey - because small steps lead to big results. 🎯#FLM2026
It was a pleasure to meet with students from Bexley Middle School at the Capitol last week! Thank you to Principal Jerome Price and the entire Bexley Middle School team for coordinating this visit and inspiring these young leaders. 📚
Last week, I had the chance to speak at the Healthcare Anchor Network Policy Day to discuss the Housing for the 21st Century Act, which includes my 3 key bills to expand affordable housing. We need Congressional Republicans to act now to deliver this housing solution for the American people.
💡Whether you’re launching a business or scaling up, financial knowledge is one of your strongest assets. Start with free resources at SBA.gov or explore the Ohio Small Business Development Center Program for support tailored to entrepreneurs. 🔗Check it out here: https://sbdccolumbus.com #FLM2026
I am deeply disturbed by the DOJ's decision to charge the Southern Poverty Law Center. No one – not even the President of the United States – can erase the impact of the civil rights giants that came before us. 🔗Read my full statement here: https://bit.ly/4e8vmBg
In 2026, about 76% of U.S. households are living paycheck to paycheck—and as everyday costs like childcare and groceries keep rising, 21% of people say they have nothing left by month’s end. When costs are on the rise, financial literacy skills can help you better manage a tight budget. #FLM2026
Trump and Republicans promised to lower costs. Instead, their reckless actions are making everything more expensive for hardworking Americans. Families can't afford $4 gas — they need to put food on the table. When will Republicans start putting Americans first?
