My constituents deserve to live free from the fear of losing their Social Security.
In Congress, I'm fighting to make that a reality.

The #AffordableCareAct passed 15 years ago. Today, 29,000 people in #OR05 have healthcare because of it.
Healthcare is a human right – no one should be a medical emergency away from bankruptcy.
I won't stop fighting in Congress to expand access, because access is agency.
Congrats to all the young doctors who matched today at OHSU! 🩺
Meanwhile, Trump is undermining funding, questioning medical professionals, & ripping healthcare from millions of Americans. #IsThatMAGA?
He should be more like these young doctors, working to take care of people.
Great to see some local union members this morning from SEIU Local 503, Oregon AFL-CIO, OFNHP, ATU Local 757, and more.
I was raised by union members, so I know wins for labor and workers are wins for our communities. Labor leaders from #OR05 know it, too!
Well... he did it. Today, Trump signed an executive order to essentially abolish the Department of Education. #IsThatMAGA?
Just last week I called for him to actually do something to help our students – this is the opposite.
I'm going to fight this in every way I can.
As a mom who has fought to make sure kids with special needs, like mine, get the education they deserve, I know how Trump’s decision to ditch the Dept. of Ed. will harm families advocating at the state level.
It’s effed-up.

Let’s go!
#MarchMadness – who’s in your bracket?
I sat down with representatives from the Bonneville Power Administration to hear about how Trump’s job cuts have caused chaos and confusion for them and the millions who rely on them for electricity.
He doesn’t care about keeping the lights on, but we do.
Our kids can’t afford Trump’s cuts to the Department of Education.
I’m all for shaking up the status quo, but not when our children’s access to a quality education is caught in the crossfire. Check out my take if you haven't already ⬇️

I'm all for shaking up the status quo, but what I can't – and won't – get behind is doing it in a way that hurts Oregonians.
Addressing maternal mortality should be a no brainer for Democrats & Republicans.
I’m glad @senlisareynolds.bsky.social is leading a Momnibus package in Oregon and I’ll be fighting right alongside her on the federal level.
Let’s end maternal mortality.

Thank you, Clackamas and Linn Counties for showing up and speaking out at our town halls!
I’m glad you’re paying attention and engaged, and that you have ideas to bring to the table – I’m all ears.
Keep the calls coming. I look forward to seeing more of you at the next one.
“If there ever were a beacon of hope in this country, it is Oregon’s Fifth Congressional District.”
That was on full display yesterday. Thank you Linn-Benton CC & Albany Mayor Alex Johnson, Clackamas CC & Oregon City Mayor Denyse McGriff, & Sen. Wyden for two great town halls.

I'll be on Tavis Smiley this morning at 10:30AM PT to chat about what's going on in Congress and my work on behalf of Oregonians.
You can watch on YouTube or listen on KBLA1580.com or wherever you get your podcasts – I hope you'll tune in! 🎧
There’s A LOT going on these days, so let’s talk about it. The more I hear from you, the better job I can do fighting for you.
I hope you’ll join me this weekend ⬇️
Senator Schumer should be out here fighting alongside House Democrats, snatching wigs and doing anything he can to stand up for Americans.
I show up for my people. It's what I came here to do.
As a mom who has fought to make sure kids with special needs, like mine, get the education they deserve, I know how Trump’s decision to ditch the Dept. of Ed. will harm families advocating at the state level.
It’s effed-up.

Alignment stats consider only votes where a clear yes/no majority existed for the legislator's party. Cross-party marks divergence where the vote matched the opposite party majority. ↔ indicates cross-party divergence.
