Miss Ma’am—- as EdSec, knowing the definition of IDEA is basic. I’m wrestling with how to tell you that parents need you to know and enforce federal law for our kids experiencing disabilities. Get in the ring for us!!
I was excited to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the League of Oregon Cities with some great leaders during their trip to the Capitol. Thanks for working with me to make life better for Oregonians – come back any time!
Cutting funding for clean water projects? Refusing to work with Democrats? I’m not putting up with it. I'm staying in DC ready to work on a funding bill that actually helps Oregonians.
My communities are asking me to give DC hell! So I’m still here. Waiting for Republicans to come to the table, ready to negotiate a clean bill minus the shenanigans, foolishness, and cuts to critical services. Buckle up. I’m here for the ride, because I never left.
Working on the playlist for our town halls this Sunday – drop your song requests in the comments 🎶⬇️
I'm excited to announce I'm holding two town halls on Sunday, March 16th! I love hearing from Oregonians – that's why my office aims to answer every call, respond to every message, & fill my calendar with constituent meetings. I look forward to hearing more in Linn and Clackamas counties next week!
Did an #AskMeAnything this morning over on IG stories. Be sure to follow me @RepBynum there too, but here are my answers to some of the questions I got! 🧵1/4
$12 million to create more jobs. $8.5 million to make our communities safer. $2 million to make sure we have safe water to drink. That's what Republicans took away from Oregon today. I voted no.
Great to see Treasurer Steiner and team in the Capitol today. Somehow DC thinks it’s ok to raise the prices of building a new library, or bridge, or clean water pipe. We say…not on our watch! Washington, I’ve got my eyes on you 👀
Happy #InternationalWomensDay! Today and every day, I’m fighting for a world where my daughters have the same rights that I did growing up. I’ll stop at nothing to make that happen.
