Donald Trump’s budget bill would impact the health and well-being of the 130,479 people who rely on Medicaid in IL-06.
Shame on Speaker Johnson for lying to the American people.

We can’t ignore the growing threat of climate change. We can tackle this challenge head on by reducing emissions while expanding access to cheaper, more reliable energy sources.

Earlier this month, I visited Jack’s West End in La Grange with the La Grange Business Association to celebrate Small Business Month. I heard how tariffs and other actions from the Trump Administration are impacting businesses in our district.
Today, we honor those who lost their lives while fighting for our country.
We must recognize their service by working to preserve liberty and democracy every day.

President Trump auctioned off a private dinner with him to the top buyers of his cryptocurrency token, dozens of which are foreign nationals.
I'm demanding that the Department of Justice investigate whether this dinner violates federal bribery laws or the emoluments clause of the Constitution.
Around 2am last night, I spoke about how House Republicans are giving a bailout to companies that can't compete because they don't want you to have access to cheap energy.
Why 2am?
They know this is a bad bill and hope you don't learn about it, so they called for debate and a vote overnight.
This week, House Republicans worked almost exclusively in the middle of the night to pass a bill they hope you don't hear about.

I strongly condemn the tragic shooting that claimed the lives of two Israeli embassy staff members outside the Capital Jewish Museum in Washington, DC. Antisemitism and hatred have no place in America. My heart goes out to the families of the victims and to the entire Jewish community.
I'm at the Capitol & will be there overnight.
House Republicans will try to pass a bill to strip Americans of their health care.
They're holding this vote in the middle of the night because they don't want you to know about it. I'm voting HELL NO.

The House Republican budget bill would make it harder for Americans to access cheaper, more reliable sources of energy.
I testified today in support of my amendment to make sure we prioritize American consumers over energy producers.
Last weekend, my office kicked off our 2025 STEM Scholars Program! I enjoyed meeting them and learned about what they are looking forward to learning this summer.
