Last week, I visited local libraries during National Library Week. I enjoyed visiting libraries in Western Springs, Clarendon Hills, and Downers Grove to learn more about their upcoming projects and their concerns about cuts to federal funding.

In February, I led over 150 Members of Congress in a letter to the Treasury demanding answers about Elon Musk’s access to taxpayer data.

The Republican budget resolution serves only to cut Medicaid and veterans' health care.
No one can vote for this legislation in good conscience and claim otherwise.
I'm voting NO.

NEWS: As a co-sponsor of a privileged resolution, I’ve taken a step to force a vote in the House to repeal Trump’s tariffs.
These tariffs serve only to raise costs on Americans. Congress has the power to stop them. All it takes is a handful of Republicans to vote for this resolution.
Elon Musk should not have access to private citizens’ personal data. That’s why I teamed up with Rep. Haley Stevens to introduce the Taxpayer Data Protection Act, legislation that ensures US private citizens’ data is not subject to reckless and unlawful interference.
Pilots and air traffic controllers should not be unfairly penalized for seeking health care by a system that perpetuates a culture of silence. I partnered up with Rep. Pete Stauber to introduce two bipartisan bills to improve access to health care for pilots and air traffic controllers. Read more:
