Donald Trump’s reckless war in Iran has put Americans across the Middle East in grave danger. I encourage all U.S. citizens in the region to review the latest Travel Advisories at travel.state.gov. Americans needing emergency consular assistance can call 24/7: +1-202-501-4444 (overseas).
Trump's illegal war is getting American servicemembers killed and causing gas prices to skyrocket. This week, I'm voting to END this war, just as the American people demand.
This past year, Trump and his Congressional allies have unleashed a torrent of attacks on our climate and democracy. I’m proud to earn 100% on @lcv.org’s 2025 #LCVScorecard and will never stop fighting to defend our communities, democracy, environment, and clean energy progress. lcv.org/scorecard
March is Women's History Month. But this year, we're not just celebrating women's history — we're fighting to protect it. This administration is erasing women from our parks, museums, and national memory. I will not let that happen.
While the Iranian regime is a brutal autocracy that has oppressed the Iranian people, that alone does not give Trump the justification needed to launch a military operation of this magnitude without Congressional approval.
This is why Congressional authorization is urgently needed. I have cosponsored H.Con.Res. 38, the Massie-Khanna War Powers Resolution, on which Leader Jeffries has said he will force a vote this coming week. Congress must immediately return to Washington and reclaim its Constitutional authority.
This morning, Donald Trump illegally began a massive military operation against Iran without consulting Congress. During his State of the Union address earlier this week, President Trump made no attempt to explain why he felt military action was necessary at this time.
🚨Trump and his team are plotting to steal the midterms by creating a fake emergency because they know his policies are deeply unpopular. We can’t let it happen, and as a member of the Litigation Task Force, I’ll fight to stop this anti-democratic effort.
I’m proud to see Mayor Johnston’s order to protect Denver’s families against the unconstitutional brutality of this administration’s ICE operations. Our police officers serve Denver — not Donald Trump
It was a pleasure welcoming Regis University interim President D. Scott Hendrickson to my office this week. I was proud to secure more than $1 million in federal funding for their new Center for Cyber Security Defense — training the next generation of cybersecurity professionals.
RFK Jr. and Donald Trump have decimated America's public health system — undermining vaccines for kids, gutting Medicaid, and making secret deals without Congress’ approval or knowledge. Republicans refuse to hold this administration accountable. When Democrats take back the House, I will.
The Trump administration’s war on science must end now. "If the United States stops being the most reliable place to pursue discovery, the world's best minds will simply do their research somewhere else — perhaps even for our adversaries." Read more of my article in @washtimes.bsky.social
Donald Trump has done nothing to make life more affordable for my constituents in Denver and has prioritized enriching himself and his friends. He is an embarrassment and a stain on our country.
As expected, Donald Trump continued to mislead the American people about his record. His delusion was on full display as he lied about the economy, launched personal attacks against Members of Congress, and showed his focus is on himself.
Four years ago today, Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine. For three years, the United States stood with them. Trump has ended that, abandoning Ukraine to coddle Putin, as Ukrainians keep fighting for their democracy. I won't stop supporting the Ukrainian people. #standwithukraine
Donald Trump demeans our Constitution, courts, and respected public institutions almost every day. I will not legitimize his egregious actions by attending his address.
