I am horrified by the vile antisemitic terror attack in Australia. This attack on a Hannukah market shows the consequences of spreading fear and hatred.
We must seek justice for those killed and do our part to stop the scourge of antisemitism.

Starbucks depends on their workers every day to run their business — they deserve a fair contract.
I stand with Starbucks workers in the fight for better wages & benefits & against the union busting tactics that Starbucks has used.
No contract, no coffee!
Today we remember the victims of the Sandy Hook Shooting, 20 innocent students and 6 educators that we lost 13 years ago.
Enough is enough. We must work together to #EndGunViolence.

America needs a single food safety agency to ensure the food our families eat is safe.
I'm proud to partner with Senator Durbin in this effort, because hospitalizations and deaths from foodborne illnesses more doubled in 2024 – the time to act is now.
Safe storage isn’t controversial; it’s responsible. If you keep a firearm at home, kids should not be able to access it.
No parent should have to bury a child because of an unlocked gun. Ethan’s Law is the standard our children deserve.
These two sweet girls should be enjoying their childhood. Instead, they are demanding Congress to act and pass common sense gun laws so no other kids have to endure the tragedy they faced.
It’s time we listen to our kids--we must act now.

Efforts in restoring East Coast's 2nd largest estuary are paying off!
Hypoxia levels found in the Long Island Sound have reached some of the lowest levels found in the last 40 yrs, allowing for growth of marine life and shoreline communities that depend on the Sound.
Factory farming of mink is outdated & dangerous.
With virtually no domestic market, the mink industry has been in steady decline for years. I am urging all of my colleagues to support this bipartisan legislation.

Instead of focusing on lowering the high costs of food. Trump has caused beef prices to soar in grocery stores.
Despite the President saying affordability is a hoax, hardworking families know the cost of living is rising every day thanks to his policies.

Trump rushed his budget through Congress just to extend his tax cuts for his billionaire buddies.
But now Trump and the GOP majorities in Congress are just sitting by while ACA tax credits expire- letting health care premiums skyrocket for 24 million Americans.
The Trump Administration is playing a cruel political game with programs that help hardworking families.
Parents, children, seniors, veterans & people with disabilities are just trying to put food on the table while costs continue to soar. This is unacceptable.
Families are falling behind on rent, utilities, and child care.
This is a cost-of-living crisis. We need policies that support our families.
Americans are already stretched thin. The Trump Administration’s energy rollbacks will make it even harder for hardworking families to make ends meet.
Higher fuel costs mean more strain on household budgets, and working people will feel it first.
It wasn’t enough for President Trump to shut down the U.S. Institute for Peace and fire its experienced staff. Now, he’s naming it after himself—the building is as empty as his promises.
Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill makes reckless & lawless cuts to the health care that people rely on.
The preliminary injunction secured by AG William Tong makes it clear that the government must continue to fund @ppsne.bsky.social & other health centers.
