On average, AANHPI women earn only 83¢ for every $1 earned by white men. All women deserve equal pay for equal work—
@housedemocrats.bsky.social are ready to close this gap. #AANHPIEqualPay

Every year, I have the privilege of nominating qualified CT-03 students to attend a Service Academy. These institutions provide crucial education & training to our future military officers.
Join us on May 6 to learn about the Service Academy application & nomination process!
I met with College & University Presidents from my district to discuss the challenges facing higher ed & their students.
Their work is critical to support our future workforce & I’ll continue to fight for them amid Trump funding cuts. Thanks to Albertus for hosting us.
⚠️SCAM TEXT MESSAGE ALERT⚠️
Connecticut residents: Please beware of scam text messages impersonating the @CTDMV about unresolved traffic citations.

For Trump and his cabinet: luxury jets, gold plated offices, and tax cuts for their closest billionaire allies.
For you: higher gas prices, higher grocery prices, higher electricity prices - the list goes on.
Less for you, more for them!
This is the Trump playbook: manufacture a crisis, terrorize the world, then back down and call it a win.
Our world is shaken, prices are high, and American families are worse off.
Enough. We must pass a War Powers Resolution immediately and end this illegal war.
Trump sent shockwaves through the global economy, rattled our allies, and terrified American families— all for a staged retreat he now wants credit for.
Strong presidents solve crises— they do not create them.
Republicans must end their allegiance to President Trump & join us in reining him in for the good of the country.
President Trump is out of control & wreaking havoc across the globe- threatening a whole civilization to “die tonight never to be brought back again” if he doesn’t get his way.
Congress must immediately reconvene & pass a bipartisan war powers resolution to end his war in Iran.
There is no issue that’s closer to my heart than kids. I am glad to join Friends Center for Children and ConnCORP in the fight for accessible & affordable childcare.
Addressing this crisis is a priority for all of us.
This is madness. This war is illegal and now Trump threatens war crimes and the eradication of an entire country if he doesn’t get his way.
Congress must assert itself and rein in this president.
UConn MBB gave everything they had this season. Huskies, hold your heads high — you brought Connecticut to the championship game. And you will again. 💜
I am aware of reports that a student at Southern Connecticut State University has been detained by ICE. My office has been in touch with leaders at the University and we are working together to gather more information.
I was thrilled to join First Selectwoman Goldberg, Senator Cabrera, & others to celebrate $344,000 that I secured to support needed improvements for Round Hill Road – a critical roadway for local residents & commuters. This project will increase the overall safety of the road.
📢Join me TOMORROW for a Tele-Town Hall to discuss recent high energy costs and increasing gas prices.
When: April 7th @ 6:00 pm
How: 📞Dial in (855) 920-0553 or go to delauro.house.gov/media-center...
Pam Bondi politicized the Department of Justice.
While I am glad she is removed from power, we must be clear-eyed about what comes next.
My full statement:
I joined Mayor Bob in Prospect for a walk-through City Hall, a drive through Coachlight Circle, which I’ve previously secured funding for to support water infrastructure, & finished the day talking to middle school students. It was an inspiring day talking to constituents.
It is time for the U.S. Congress to send my FAMILY Act to the president’s desk so that all Americans can have access to paid family and medical leave.
Americans are trapped in a cost-of-living crisis. When Democrats gain power, they respond.
I applaud my friend & former colleague Governor of Virginia Abigal Spanberger, & the Democratic legislature for enacting a paid family & medical leave program.
Birthright citizenship is clear in the Constitution, and the Trump Administration knows it.
Overturning the 14th Amendment would be against the values of our nation.
