Trump’s Big Ugly Bill is already starting to hit families across the country. From food assistance to student loans to Medicaid, key deadlines are coming fast while tax breaks for the wealthy stay permanent.

Trump’s 15% tariff on EU medicines will raise drug prices for patients already struggling to afford care. This is the wrong direction. We should be lowering costs for families, not making it harder to get the medications they need.

Republicans cut Medicaid and Medicare in the Big Ugly Bill. Now they are bragging about how it will privatize SOCIAL SECURITY too.
The cost? Your benefits.
I won’t stand by while Republicans try to gut this program hardworking Americans depend on.
Rep. Danny Davis has been a tireless advocate for children & families & a trusted colleague on the Ways & Means Committee. His retirement will mark the end of an incredible chapter in Congress. Thankful for his leadership & friendship all these years.
Joined providers & advocates at Redmond Care & Rehab & Redmond Heights Senior Living for a Medicare & Medicaid Day of Action. For 60 years, these programs have helped millions live longer, healthier lives. We must keep fighting to protect them.
Great to join brewery owners at Postdoc Brewing in Redmond to talk about the challenges they face with rising costs & tariffs, & how Congress can better support local businesses, jobs, & communities.
Medicare & Medicaid weren’t just policy. They were a promise.
For 60 years, Democrats have kept it.
Now Republicans are breaking it.
President Trump isn’t just raising prices on health care and everyday products hardworking families buy. Now, he wants you to pay to file taxes. Democrats created the IRS direct file program, but Trump is ending it.

Great to join the Bellevue Rotary Club to share an update on my work in Congress. Grateful for the opportunity to connect & discuss how we can keep delivering results for our region.
Heartbroken by the mass shooting in Manhattan. No one should have to live in fear of gun violence. My thoughts are with the victims, their loved ones, & the entire NYC community.

Businesses need certainty to grow & sustain themselves. Trump’s tariff chaos is making it hard for them to sell their products abroad or get the supplies they need to manufacture here in the U.S.
From Japan to Seattle, Ichiro became a legend, one base hit at a time. Congrats to a true Mariners icon on your Hall of Fame induction! Washington will never forget #51. ⚾💙
At yesterday’s @waysmeanscmte.bsky.social hearing, I called out the truth: permanent giveaways for the wealthy & corporations, while working families get temporary scraps
Costs are rising, families are struggling, and Republicans are doubling down on the same failed agenda.
Talk about government waste… The Trump admin is destroying nearly $10M in U.S.-funded contraceptives instead of getting them to women who need them.
I’m cosponsoring a bill to stop this & ensure foreign aid reaches those it’s meant to help.

At today’s @waysmeanscmte.bsky.social field hearing in Las Vegas, I called out what Republicans won’t.
Tourism is down. Manufacturers are losing customers. Congress must have a say & Republicans need to show some backbone.
Republicans let the expanded Child Tax Credit expire — now they want credit for doing the bare minimum.
At today’s @waysmeanscmte.bsky.social hearing, I made it clear: this bill leaves out 22 million kids. I’m fighting to make the CTC fully refundable to lift more families out of poverty.
