In addition to slashing funding for healthcare, seniors, and veterans, every Republican that votes for their funding bill is deliberately choosing to protect Trump's tariffs. It means each one of them is choosing to make your life more expensive and keep hurting our economy.
The Republican funding plan is a betrayal to Americans. It will hurt veterans, families, and seniors. If this is what they want, they should pass it with Republican votes. They control the House, the Senate, and the White House – if there is a government shutdown, it's on them.
Anyone else notice it's just the millionaires telling Americans to "endure the pain" Trump's disastrous economic policies are causing? Every time the stock market drops, millions of Americans see their retirement funds disappear. They don't care about you, just themselves.
Asked about the stock market tanking, Tuberville says "I don't think President Trump needs to be concerned about it. He doesn't need to look at it ... he has told me people there's gonna be a little bit of pain with this. And there is. That's fine. The stock market has gone up and down before."
The First Amendment doesn't only apply to those the President agrees with. Only dictators silence their dissenters this way.   The arrest of Mahmoud Khalil is yet another Trump attack on the Constitution and more democratic backsliding in America. www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news...
We HAD a Biden economy. But since then, the Trump administration has tanked it with tariffs, eroded our reputation as a trade partner, and attacked our most important trade alliances. They've put “America First” at the expense of our country’s economic health.
Hassett: "We've got a Biden economy. Still, most of Biden's policies are in place. If you look at the Atlanta Fed GDP now number, it's showing negative first quarter, which is kind of a metric of the inheritance of President Biden."
🚨 Despite President Musk's claim that working for DOGE meant your “compensation is zero,” these same people are being paid hundreds of thousands of dollars BY TAX PAYERS to dismantle our federal agencies 👇🏽 www.wired.com/story/doge-g...
“The maquiladora industry cannot slow down because of their ‘just in time’ schedule. They are sending their shipments to the U.S. with that 25% tariff. The (assembler) will not be paying that, the consumer (in the U.S.) will be paying that.” www.ktsm.com/news/border-...
I walked out of Trump’s Joint Address. I couldn’t listen to the incessant lies anymore. Trump’s actions have demonstrated nothing but contempt for our Constitution, our country and its people. He’s corrupting our government, selling it to billionaires, and making hard-working Americans pay for it.
