Thank you to everyone who joined and shared their personal stories at my Seniors Listening Session in Durham.
Trump's cuts to Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, and more are hurting seniors across the nation—restoring this funding has to be a priority for Congress.
Due to high-interest, tickets to the event went quickly. If you weren't able to join us in-person, a recording of the Town Hall can be found at foushee.house.gov/town-hall.
Thank you to everyone who joined my Town Hall in Morrisville! I appreciate all who came out to make their voices heard.
While Trump prioritizes wars and ICE raids over helping working families, I'll keep fighting to make sure your voice is heard in the halls of Congress.
I signed @morelle.house.gov's discharge petition to force a vote on banning Members of Congress from trading stocks
The GOP's counterpart to this bill includes substantial loopholes—I urge my House colleagues to join us to get a vote on this bill.

One year into Trump's presidency and costs are up for hardworking Americans while Republicans focus on taking over Greenland.
Congress cannot allow this affordability crisis to continue—we need to pass legislation that lowers childcare, grocery, housing, and healthcare costs NOW.
I am proud to have received an “A” on @endcitizensunited.bsky.social's 2026 Anti-Corruption legislative scorecard.
I will never stop fighting to put the hardworking people of #NC04 first, and I will keep fighting for accountability, transparency, and reforms in Washington.
On International Holocaust Remembrance Day, we honor the lives of the 6 million Jewish people murdered during the Holocaust.
Today, and every day, we must continue to fight antisemitism and bigotry of all forms to ensure the horrors of the Holocaust are never repeated.
ICE is out of control and Congress' inaction is allowing this agency to kill people.
Impeaching Kristi Noem is the bare minimum—we have to stop giving this rogue agency funding, pursue charges against these officers who violate human rights and unmask these agents so we can hold them accountable.
While people are dying at the hands of our government, the House continues to vote to give billions of taxpayer dollars to support this agency.
ICE puts every single one of us at risk. Trump is allowing a federal agency to violate rights and take lives, and Congress' continued inaction is complicity.
ICE just murdered yet another person in Minnesota today. I am horrified and disgusted that these federal agents have been allowed to kill yet another person.
As we develop federal policy and guardrails on AI, it is critical to expand HBCU access to research and innovation, and ensure inclusive growth, particularly for underserved communities.
Today, I hosted a roundtable at NCCU with @reptedlieu.bsky.social, NCGA elected officials, industry leaders, academics, and students on building inclusive AI workforce pipelines.

An emergency shelter will open in Durham tomorrow ahead of the winter storm. 4622 N. Roxboro St. Cots, meals, showers, phone charging, transportation, and pet kennels will be available. GoDurham will operate buses to help get you to the shelter as conditions allow. www.durhamnc.gov/5489/Durham-...

🚨All of #NC04 is under a Winter Storm Watch.
Impacts are expected to begin Saturday night, with the possibility of heavy ice accumulations that can cause dangerous road conditions and potential power outages.
I am appreciative of the bill's efforts to fund the Social Security Administration, increase support for Head Start, and the Community Project Funding this bill will send to my district, but these positives cannot outweigh the dangers of enabling Trump's actions abroad. (3/3)
Over half of the proposed Pentagon budget is estimated to go to giant corporations and contractors. Our communities are hurting from higher housing, healthcare, and grocery costs—and prioritizing funding for defense contractors is completely out of touch. (2/3)
Today, I voted against the minibus package that gives Pete Hegseth’s Pentagon an extra $8.4 billion more than what even Trump requested, and does nothing to constrain Trump's continued threats against our allies. (1/3)
Super PACs and dark money have had undue influence over our elections since this decision, and Congress needs to take action to ensure that voters are the ones that decide elections. (2/2)
