What else could we do with that $38 billion?
Fully fund the SNAP program for nearly 5 months.
Provide 18+ months of free school breakfast & lunch for every student.
2+ years of funding for improvements to military family housing.
Nearly 1/2 of the amount needed to expand ACA tax credits for 3 years
We are a nation in the midst of an affordability crisis. Seeing this administration give an additional $38+ billion to Kristi Noem's rogue, unchecked ICE is an immoral use of taxpayer funds.
Black History Month allows us to reflect on the NCAACP's activism that aided in guaranteeing all citizens the right to vote. The NAACP continues to fight to ensure the right to vote is upheld, understanding that voting is essential to a well-functioning democracy.
Childcare and elder care costs are astronomical and out of reach for many Americans. A key component of the @newdems.bsky.social affordability agenda is working to expand access to child and elder care so that families can afford to work, care for loved ones and plan for their future.
Chester & Berks County art teachers: please register your school by Thursday, March 12th, at the link in my bio.
A committee of judges will select one student’s artwork to hang in the U.S. Capitol building for a full year. The winning artist will also be invited to a celebration in Washington, D.C. this June.
Calling all high school students and art teachers! Do you live in the 6th District of Pennsylvania? If so, you are invited to participate in the Congressional Art Competition! This is an amazing opportunity to show the nation your creative talents.
Not only is the President telling you to not believe your eyes, he and his Cabinet are actively working to suppress data that explains their failed policies.
The administration is threatening to "discipline" nonpartisan researchers at the Fed for publishing an analysis showing Americans are paying 90% of the cost of President Trump's tariffs.

This is another abuse of power from President's Trump cabinet and a disservice to our men and women in uniform.
Sec. Hegseth (Princeton '03; Harvard '13) doesn't want our servicemembers exposed to any views that differ from his own radical ideologies and hopes to prevent them from using their earned benefits to pursue an education at some of our country's best schools.
Applications for summer internships are now open! We have positions in my Reading, West Chester, and Washington D.C. offices. This is a great opportunity to get first-hand experience with the legislative process, communications, and constituent services. Apply at the link in my bio by March 15th!

To all those observing Ramadan, House Democrats wish peace, reflection and blessings to you and your loved ones throughout this holy month.
Ramadan Mubarak!
This month’s Coffee with Constituents is February 24th in Wyomissing with the office of Rep. Johanny Cepeda-Freytiz. Come by from 11-1 and bring questions about federal or state issues you may have!
Proud to stand alongside Rep. O'Mara, a champion for paid leave in the PA General Assembly. Together, we can make paid family and medical leave a reality for all Pennsylvanians.
On week two of Black History Month, let's look at the NAACP’s activism throughout the years. From shaping organizing efforts during the Civil Rights movement to influencing civic engagement today, I'm grateful for the NAACP's decades of advocacy and positive change.

I voted against the undemocratic SAVE Act in the House, and now, I'm urging my Senate colleagues to do the same. Call your senators and join me in sharing your opposition to this voter suppression bill:
A direct response to Speaker Johnson: my service to our country is what allows you to speak freely, even when you're wrong.
Last night, the DOJ failed to indict me for restating the law in a video my colleagues and I made in November. This is a victory– not for me, but for all Americans.
