Happy Flag Day, PA-06!🇺🇸 Today, we celebrate our stars and stripes, and the spirit of resilience that they represent.
As we head into a hot and humid weekend in PA, be on alert and prepared for signs of heat illness. Stay hydrated and check in on your neighbors (especially older adults, people with chronic illnesses, and pregnant women), and find more heat safety resources here: www.redcross.org/get-help/how...
That's why my colleagues and I introduced the Drain the Slush Fund Act to permanently block taxpayer funds from rewarding political allies. It's time we put an end to this partisan scheme once and for all.
Acting AG Todd Blanche says President Trump's "Anti-Weaponization Fund" is dead. The courts say it cannot move forward. But without guardrails, this Administration has a habit of saying one thing and doing another.
The Schuylkill River Water Trail has officially been distinguished as a National Water Trail! Thanks to years of environmental restoration, this 120-mile waterway offers opportunities for paddling, fishing, and other outdoor adventures across PA-06. Find nearby sections of the trail to explore here:
As we look ahead to America’s 250th anniversary, I’m highlighting events in our community to come together and celebrate. Here is what’s happening this week in the district!
I have long advocated for sustained U.S. support to Ukraine in the face of Putin’s aggression. On Thursday, I proudly joined my colleagues on both sides of the aisle to vote for renewed aid, because defending Ukrainian sovereignty is defending our global security.

Did you know the iconic Asbury Park Wheel was built right here in our district? And now, after decades down the shore, it's back home in Phoenixville.
Tomorrow, June 6th, you can attend the official ribbon cutting and celebrate this full-circle moment for our community:
Today is National Gun Violence Awareness Day, a time to honor the countless lives stolen by gun violence.
We can and must do more to prevent these tragedies. As a member of the Congressional Gun Violence Prevention Task Force, I'm committed to that work.
Now, if it passes in the Senate, we could put an end to this catastrophic war. If you want that to happen, let your Senators know. Join me in urging our them to vote YES on Iran War Powers: www.senate.gov/senators/sen...
I just left the House floor, where we finally passed a War Powers Resolution to rein in President Trump's reckless and unlawful war in Iran. Four of my Republican colleagues joined Congressional Democrats to stand up to the Trump Administration.
When Americans are already struggling to feed their families, this change would strip support from already vulnerable moms and children.
If we value families like we say we do, Congress cannot allow these cuts.
Three million young adults could lose their SNAP benefits because of last year's Republican budget, including those aging out of foster care.
And now, Congressional Republicans are pushing a bill to gut WIC by an additional $200 million.
Secretary Hegseth misled us then, and continues to do so now.

Happy Pride Month, PA-06!🏳️🌈 Today and every day, I'm proud to fight for equality, freedom, and safety for our LGBTQ+ community.
Our seniors' health and well-being is of the utmost importance and I am thankful to have dedicated organizations like these in our community!
During a recent stop in Berks County, I met with the staff at Senior Life Reading and Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital. Both organizations provide valuable resources, through home health in the case of Senior Life, and through extensive rehabilitation services with Encompass.
My office has received countless calls from constituents since its closing and I am pleased to report on the progress being made.
After two years of waiting and working behind the scenes, we have an update on the Airport Rd post office in West Chester!
USPS has confirmed that the current building will be demolished within the next two months and a new postal facility will be built in its place once the site has been cleared.
They have created an innovative construction and excavation solution and I will be rooting for them as they compete at the national convention this June!
