I recently visited Progenra, a biotech company in Malvern currently developing life-saving treatments for Parkinson's disease and Alzheimer's. Progenra receives over $25 million in NIH funding, which the Trump Administration has repeatedly attacked.

President Trump exaggerates daily. He's targeted Social Security for weeks on end with accusations that deceased Americans receive benefits. It's not true.
The public servants at SSA are accurate 99.67% of the time and ensure rightfully earned benefits are accurately distributed to Americans.
Trump's recent attacks on USAID have halted critical life-saving programs across Africa and irrevocably tarnished America's reputation. These programs save lives and promote strong diplomatic relationships with Africa, which are essential for American economic competitiveness and national security.
The discussion made me hopeful for a future of U.S.-African partnerships that promote joint prosperity and safety.
I am, however, concerned with recent actions by the Trump Administration that jeopardize American interests in the region.
I recently had the opportunity to participate in a panel hosted by West Chester University's College of Business and Public Management focused on best practices for the U.S. government, businesses, and NGOs looking to engage across Africa.
Happy National Ag Day! 🌽🍄🐄
Did you know PA-06 is home to over 1,700 farms? And that 70% of all mushrooms in the U.S. are grown in Chester County?
Thank you to the farmers in our community, Commonwealth, and across the country for keeping us fed! #AgDay25

Federal employees have been under attack since Jan 20. We can reduce government spending without recklessly eliminating thousands of job. The ruling points out Trump and Musk can fire people but not this way. We will protect workers from their overreach. www.washingtonpost.com/national/202...
We haven’t left the field. House Democrats stand united for a four-week funding extension that stops harmful cuts, keeps government open, and allows Congress to reach a bipartisan funding agreement. I am ready to vote today, tomorrow or Friday to pass this four-week extension.
This is corrupt, wildly unethical, and gross. Call the White House and call him out on this.
The icing on the cake was the President threatening people who are protesting at Tesla stores, promising to label them 'domestic terrorists' and ensuring they will 'go through hell — all so Musk's car company can end its disastrous stock market dive.
Not coincidentally, Musk signaled yesterday his interest in giving another $100M to two political groups associated with President Trump.
Instead of focusing on the real concerns, economic and otherwise, of the American people, yesterday President Trump and Elon Musk hosted a Tesla-thon (my apologies to Toyota) at the White House, where he supposedly purchased a car for himself.
The administration is watching to see if we all shrug our shoulders and let them strip Constitutional rights from a legal resident with a political point of view. Don't fail the test.
To be crystal clear, Mr. Khalil did everything right by the current administration's standards: he earned his green card legally, got married, started a family with his wife, and has no criminal record. He simply does not agree with parts of our foreign policy. This is a test for you and for me.
Arresting a legal permanent resident for exercising his rights is not only wrong but extremely dangerous for our fragile democracy.
The Trump Administration's position is "freedom of speech for me, not for thee." And "thee" means anyone who doesn't agree with President Trump. If we allow the First Amendment to fall, every other freedom we cherish and have protected will erode.
But peace cannot be achieved without all parties at the table, and President Trump needs to be reminded regularly that Putin is not our ally.
Ukrainians have long been ready for a just and lasting peace, and I am happy about the 30-day ceasefire, as well as the materiel and intel support we will again provide to Ukraine. www.nbcnews.com/news/world/u...
