It gives additional unchecked spending and impoundment authority to the president and further curtails the Constitutional “power of the purse" authority of Congress. All of this while once again kicking the can even farther down the road & setting the stage to further erode our economy and Republic.
I have voted yes on past CRs, regardless of which party introduced the bill. But today I cannot and will not support this effort that intentionally hurts millions of everyday Americans.
Today, I voted NO on the Republicans’ reckless & dangerous “Continuous Resolution” to fund the government. This bill would eliminate billions of dollars from veterans services & medical research, cut funding for critical local services, including our own law enforcement and fire departments, & more.
Elon Musk has been lying about the Administration's plan to take this money away by waving around unfounded claims of "fraud, abuse and waste."
Tell the White House to keep its hands off your money. Call (202) 456-1111 or email the WH at whitehouse.gov/contact.

Our country is battling a measles outbreak, and neighboring Montgomery County recently announced its first confirmed case. Now more than ever, we need reliable, science-based public health information that builds trust in life-saving vaccinations.
Americans rely on the federal government for accurate health-related information to protect themselves and their families. Unfortunately, the Trump Administration has scrubbed vital information from the CDC websites.
I will always applaud American success. But I will not clap for the gaslighting we experienced tonight. #JointSession
It's a privilege to have her join me tonight and put a face to the people affected by the chaos of the Administration.
Jessica — a mother of three who was working to safeguard our nation's history ahead of the 250th anniversary of our democratic republic — and people like her across government agencies are now unemployed because of President Trump.
Tonight, I am honored to bring Jessica Fair to the President's Joint Address to Congress. Jessica is a historical architect who got her dream job working at Valley Forge Historical Park, overseeing renovation and preservation projects like Washington’s Headquarters, which was damaged by a hurricane.
China's cyber capabilities are alarming and will only get more threatening. We must use the strongest sanctions to protect America's cutting-edge technology.
That's why I am reintroducing the bipartisan NETWORKS ACT with Rep. Dale Strong to protect our telecom systems from our adversaries.
My 96th town hall is tomorrow night!

Trump is taxing the American people and hurting the pocketbooks of hardworking families who are already struggling to get by.

It is highly contagious-the vaccine protects not only the person getting it but contributes to community immunity, which protects us all.
Montgomery County public health officials have alerted us to the first known case of measles in PA this year and contact tracing is now underway. HHS Secretary Robert F Kennedy Jr. urges everyone who can to get vaccinated against measles.
