We are just five weeks into the Trump Administration, and thousands of people are unemployed as a direct result of his and DOGE's chainsaw approach to rightsizing the federal workforce. Meet Chris, one of our community members, who shares his story.
I agree with my colleague @adamsmith.house.gov.
"...this isn’t about strategy or efficiency – the bigotry and cruelty is the point."
I'll be joined by three of my colleagues in the House and special guest Professor David Vladeck, the A.B. Chettle Chair in Civil Procedure at Georgetown Law. RSVP for this important conversation here: houlahan.house.gov/forms/form/?...
Hey PA-06 👋, you're invited to my next town hall on Wednesday, March 5 at 6 p.m.!
This telephone town hall will be focused on litigation and the Trump Administration.
This means our farmers' crops and by extension — our local economy — are not protected when disaster strikes. I am proud to reintroduce the bipartisan "Protecting Mushroom Farmers Act," which starts the process of unlocking special USDA crop insurance for mushrooms and protecting our local economy!
Chester County's Kennett Square is known as the "Mushroom Capital of the World, but diseases and pests are a persistent threat to these fungi.

Research saves lives. Science saves lives. Cutting funding for medical research will kill people. DOGE's erratic cuts are cruel and uninformed. I will fight to fund and give people access to lifesaving research.
Our neighbors in PA rely on these programs to put food on their tables and get the health care they need. All of these cuts are so republicans can give a $314,266 tax cut to the wealthiest 0.1% and give away more than $2 trillion to CEOs and big corporations.
My Constituents are terrified of losing essential benefits like Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, and SNAP. I am worried, too; the proposed Republican budget would cut Medicaid by up to $880 billion and SNAP cuts by up to $230 billion.
The United States joined North Korea, Sudan, Belarus and Russia in voting against the UN Resolution condemning Russia’s invasion against Ukraine. Read that again. We voted *against* our ally and *with* our adversaries. What an astonishingly bad choice. #StandWithUkraine www.cnn.com/2025/02/24/p...
There is bipartisan support for Ukraine and President Zelenskyy in Congress and across our country. Despite the Trump administration’s lies and chaotic diplomatic bungling, we must remain clear and united in our support for Ukraine. #StandWithUkraine #SlavaUkraini
Three years ago today, Putin invaded Ukraine, and the world has been witness to the horrific and deadly consequences of Russia’s aggression.

"Trump is either blindly ignorant to the realities of Russia’s brutal assault on Ukraine or deliberately siding with Putin, a violent dictator and war criminal."
Statement from New Dems Reps. Jason Crow, Rep. Gerry Connolly, Seth Moulton & @houlahan.house.gov on Trump's recent remarks on Ukraine ⬇️
It is an honor to care for and represent our veterans and those who serve them. Thank you to all who've worn the uniform and worked in support of veterans.
Pictured is our new defense fellow, Viviana! She drove up from D.C. to help deliver! Semper Fi!
Thank you to the many community members who made Valentines for our Veterans 💌 as part of our annual Valentines for Veterans project! On Friday, our team hand-delivered them to veterans and staff at the Veterans Multi-Service Center in Reading.
The administration's attack on diversity, equity, & inclusion will have consequences across our district. Community member Joanna J. shared how the attacks on people with disabilities harm her sons & puts them at greater disadvantage. This is what the administration is doing to the American people.
If you have a story to share, please submit it using the form on houlahan.house.gov.
Heather K. was summarily fired last week from her job at a park in Chester County funded by the National Park Service. Read her story.
The impact of President Trump's and Elon Musk's indiscriminate axing of staff across the federal workforce is hurting people in our district. I'm sharing stories of residents in Berks and Chester Counties whose lives are being directly impacted.
My sixth annual State of the Sixth Address and Town Hall is happening on Monday, February 24!
