Violence, hatred, and antisemitism have no place in our communities.
My heart is with the Jewish community in Michigan affected by this violence. Our places of worship should be safe spaces, and I pray for everyone's safety.
A strike on an Iranian school killed 175 people, mostly children. Trump tried to blame it on Iran, but a preliminary inquiry shows that it was the US. Our tax dollars are killing children.
We need answers and accountability for this atrocity, and an immediate stop to this war.
“In that moment, I believed I might not survive.”
Ed Higgins is a veteran and a US citizen — yet he was still brutalized by federal immigration agents.
Thanks to Trump and Republicans, Americans across the country are paying tens of thousands of dollars this year just on insurance premiums.
This is absolutely unacceptable and unaffordable.
For profit mass incarceration facilities for immigrants have no place in our community.
Thank you to our local leaders in King County for issuing this moratorium on detention facilities in our region.

Since Trump began his war with Iran, gas prices have soared all across the country.
This is not a red state or blue state issue. Costs are going up for millions of Americans.
The threats against judges, fueled by the rhetoric of the Trump administration, are not only dangerous for the rule of law but threaten our very democracy and separation of powers.

50% of Americans can’t afford health care, and millions more have medical debt.
It’s time for universal health care — no one should go broke because they get sick.
Everyday Americans have been forced to pay for daily expenses with credit cards — owing a collective $1.23 trillion in credit card debt.
As Trump slashes funding for health care and food assistance, he’s giving himself and his billionaire buddies massive tax breaks.
In the richest country in the world, no one should have to worry about how they’ll be able to afford a trip to the doctor.
It’s time for a health care system without copays, private insurance premiums, sky-high deductibles, or surprise fees. It’s time for Medicare for All.

Last night, I hosted my 129th town hall since coming to Congress.
Hundreds of people came out to ask thoughtful questions on everything from Trump’s illegal war in Iran to protecting our planet from climate change. If you weren’t able to make it, I hope to see you next time!
“I feel frozen, scared, and angry.”
Wesley Powers, a U.S. Navy veteran, was attacked with a chemical agent and detained by ICE. Listen to his story.
Thanks to Trump’s illegal war in Iran, our costs are going up. In King County, residents are now paying a whopping $4.87 a gallon for gas.
We need to put an end to this now.

TONIGHT: I’m hosting my 129th town hall in Seattle.

Disgusting is not a strong enough word to describe how absolutely vile this is.
This rhetoric is un-American and has no place in this country.
This fight is about justice -– we’re not giving up.
“What happened to me was a flagrant violation of my Constitutional rights.”
Patty O’Keefe was violently detained for legally observing ICE activity in her neighborhood. She deserves accountability from the DHS.
The day before Kristi Noem was fired, I confronted her about DHS wrongfully detaining American citizens, some of whom were sitting right behind her.
I’m grateful for their voices and the continued work of UnidosMN. This fight is far from over — I’m not stopping.
These are letters and drawings from children at the Dilley Detention Center in Texas.
Trump isn’t going after the “worst of the worst.” He’s going after kids — who should be home, in school, and playing with their friends.
This is absolutely heartbreaking — and it must end.
Congratulations to Brandi Carlile for being named one of Time magazine’s 2026 Women of the Year!
Thank you for always using your voice to fight for justice — for women, for immigrants, and for everyone in this country.
