It was great to start yesterday morning with @markwarner.bsky.social r and Hispanic and Latino leaders from across Virginia at our Commonwealth Coffee event! This Hispanic Heritage Month, we’re celebrating all you do every day to make Virginia stronger. Thank you for joining us!
The Trump-Vance Administration thinks AI risks are a hoax. The American people know AI safety measures are needed. Democrats will put appropriate regulation in place.
Could you ever have imagined a President threatening to annihilate another country? At our best, America has been a strong, resolute, reliable neighbor, not a global bully. We need leaders who'll bring us back to that. That isn't Donald Trump.
Farmers were already getting crushed by the Trump-Vance Administration’s tariffs. Now they can’t afford diesel for their tractors or fertilizer for their fields because of the war. Instead of helping them, President Trump is fixating on plans for a ridiculous 250ft arch! www.npr.org/2026/09/21/n...

Happy 79th birthday to the U.S. Air Force! Thank you to the men and women of the United States Air Force for your dedication and sacrifice. On the Armed Services Committee, I'll keep working to ensure the Air Force has the leadership and support its needs.

Donald Trump’s promise of $5,000 checks sounds like a bribe to me. Instead of making promises he won’t keep, he should focus on actually making life more affordable for Americans by ending his stupid tariffs and illegal wars that drive up costs.
This is a massive mistake. The Chesapeake Bay plays a critical role in Virginia's economy and seafood industries, and we must take steps to protect the waters and shores of the region. I'm going to do everything I can to fight this. www.wboc.com/news/trump-a...
I joined my colleagues in urging the Department of Education to reinstate critical guidelines that protect students from discrimination in career and technical education programs. Fair and equitable access to CTE is essential to our students and the strength of our economy.
Donald Trump says he'd "bomb the s--- out of" Oman, a U.S. ally, if it gets in the way of his illegal war with Iran. What an idiotic idea. That’s why I filed a War Powers Resolution to prevent another foolish war.
Last week in Fredericksburg, I held a roundtable on affordable housing and how we can make it easier for Virginians to find a place they can afford to call home. As a former fair housing attorney, I’ll keep fighting to expand access to affordable housing.
Last week in Richmond, @mcclellan.house.gov , @dannyavula.bsky.social, Virginia Health and Human Resources, local leaders, and I discussed how rising costs of gas, groceries, housing, and child care are squeezing families. We're going to keep fighting to lower costs.
I oppose this legislation because I worry that the passage of inadequate cryptocurrency regulation will give Americans a false sense of security and fail to protect consumers from the corruption, fraud, and money laundering that is all too rampant in this industry.
The Senate failed to advance a major cryptocurrency regulation bill because Democrats blocked the measure over concerns that it does not go far enough to stop federal officials’ digital asset dealings, including President Trump’s.
¡Feliz Mes de la Herencia Hispana! Ahora y siempre, honramos la rica historia, grandes voces, y las aportaciones críticas de las comunidades hispanas en Virginia y en toda la nación.
Five years ago today, the U.S., U.K., and Australia launched AUKUS. I'm proud to have championed the legislation to implement and strengthen this historic partnership—advancing a free Indo-Pacific and further solidifying Virginia's leadership in shipbuilding.
Happy Hispanic Heritage Month! Now and always, we honor the rich history, vibrant voices, and vital contributions of Hispanic communities throughout Virginia and across the country.
