I teamed up with @robinkelly.house.gov to introduce the Federal Firearm Licensee Act to ensure people who shouldn’t have guns aren’t able to get them.
Updating laws for licensed firearm dealers is one of many steps we must take to address the gun violence epidemic in our country.

Laws regulating gun dealers haven’t been updated in over 30 years.
I introduced the Federal Firearm Licensee Act with @Durbin.senate.gov to bring our gun safety laws into the 21st Century. Every gun dealer should ensure they don’t sell guns to people with dangerous intentions.

Already, Trump’s tariffs have triggered a plunge in the stock market and sent investors reeling.
Americans will pay for Trump’s trade war at the check-out counter as prices for everyday items skyrocket.

These workers monitored infectious diseases, set standards for food and medication, and oversaw health insurance programs.

GOOD NEWS: In a 7-2 decision, the Supreme Court upheld the federal ban on ghost guns.
Ghost guns shoot and kill just like regular guns — except law enforcement couldn’t trace them.
Now, ghost guns require a serial number and background check.
