REMINDER: ICE officers DO NOT have federal immunity. Yet another lie from an admin that lies constantly and ignores the law—that’s why they have a losing record in lawsuits supported by @housedemocrats.bsky.social.
There WILL BE accountability for illegal, reckless actions by DHS.

I'm a hell yes on impeaching Kristi Noem.
Under Noem's leadership, DHS has flagrantly violated the law to terrorize immigrant communities and U.S. citizens in LA, Chicago, Minneapolis, and beyond.
Enough of the terror. Enough of Kristi's corruption. Impeachment NOW.
Just last week, five Republicans voted to advance this resolution—now all but three are rubber stamping Trump’s return to imperialism and regime change that they KNOW is illegal, wrong, and dangerous.
I’ll keep fighting for a War Powers vote in the House to rein in this rogue president.
While Trump's economy screws American workers, his Secretary of Labor is allegedly gallivanting across the country on the taxpayer's dime—including a personal trip to Red Rocks Resort—drinking on the job, and having an affair with a subordinate.
There must be accountability.
If the Trump Administration is so upset with people calling them Nazis, they should stop using Nazi slogans.
Despicable, evil, and anti-American.
Happy Korean American Day!
Today, we celebrate the culture, history, and contributions of Korean Americans in our city and beyond.
I'm committed to uplifting their voices in Congress.
I said what I said.
I’m sick of the hypocrisy and bullshit.
Seeing an abhorrent amount of ICE violence in the news today, from a teenage Latino U.S. citizen being abducted from his job to peaceful protesters being assaulted.
Trump has given DHS the go-ahead to act with impunity. The violence must end. Kristi Noem must be impeached.
This story sadly isn't new. In my district, DHS shot and injured Carlitos Ricardo Parias, claimed he rammed agents with his vehicle, and charged him with assault.
The charges against him were dismissed. But Renee Good won't be afforded the same due process.
My heart is with the Jackson Jewish community and all Jewish Americans alarmed by the recent surge in antisemitism. We must stand united against it. (🧵2/2)
I’m outraged by the arson attack on congregation Beth Israel in Mississippi—a historic synagogue once attacked by the KKK for its activism during the Civil Rights Movement. (🧵1/2)
I’m abhorred by the Iranian regime’s brutal murder of hundreds of protesters calling for better lives for themselves and future generations.
I stand with the people of Iran as they speak out against this repressive regime. The violence must end.
The LA fires didn't ask what political party people belong to or how they vote. Disaster aid should never, ever be partisan, but a year later, Republican leadership is doing everything but delivering for California.
It’s time Congress delivers the disaster aid we deserve.
Kristi Noem still hasn’t come before @democrats-judiciary.house.gov to explain how she’s spending the $170 billion Congressional Republicans just gave her—and now Trump wants MORE?
No more money for DHS. Congress must investigate how our tax dollars are being used to harm U.S. citizens.
It’s been a chaotic start to 2026, from the horrific murder of Renee Good by ICE to Trump’s occupation of Venezuela.
Tune into @ms.now today at 3pm ET/12pm PT as I join Alex Witt to break down another crazy week under the lawless Trump Administration.
Today marks 3 months since my constituent Vicente disappeared in DHS custody after suffering a medical episode.
My office has been working tirelessly to get answers, but DHS denies that he was ever in their custody. Where is he??
Renee Good was a U.S. citizen. A mother of three. She was likely afraid of being shot.
ICE murdered her. No one should have to live in fear of being shot by rogue, trigger-happy immigration enforcement agents. But what happened yesterday shows this can happen to anyone.
Today’s House vote to extend the enhanced ACA tax credits for another three years reflects Democrats’ tireless work in both Washington and our communities.
But this fight is not over. We must keep the pressure on the Senate. My full statement:
Impeach Kristi Noem.

Alignment stats consider only votes where a clear yes/no majority existed for the legislator's party. Cross-party marks divergence where the vote matched the opposite party majority. ↔ indicates cross-party divergence.
