I’m heartbroken by the passing of Congressman David Scott. Rep. Scott was trailblazer in Georgia politics and was Black History in the halls of Congress. As the first Black chair of the powerful Agriculture Committee, he fought to end food insecurity, protect SNAP, and support our farmers.

As a founding member of the Slow Fashion and Recommerce Caucuses, I’m proud to have innovative companies like Tukatech in my district who are modernizing production and reducing environmental waste.
