Today we celebrate the women who fought for our right to vote and the opportunities they helped create for women across the country. We continue their work to not only protect the vote, but to secure reproductive rights, equal pay, and everything we are owed. Que honor seguir en sus pasos.

On Friday, I joined the LULAC Town Hall in Española with Latino leaders, workers, and families who fight every day for dignity and opportunity. Since 1929, LULAC has stood with our community — and today, as we face new attacks, we are not powerless.

New Mexicans affected by radiation exposure from the Trinity Project have spent too long awaiting compensation. Now that Congress finally expanded RECA, the Department of Justice must act quickly and make sure survivors can access their benefits.
