How is it not bigger news that Kristi Noem spent $172 million in Coast Guard funds on two luxury Gulfstream jets?
She’s living large on taxpayer money.
It’s corrupt, self-indulgent, and an insult to public service. www.nytimes.com/2025/10/18/u...

House Republicans haven’t shown up a single day this month.
Mike Johnson is keeping them home to block Adelita Grijalva from being sworn in and to hide his party’s growing divisions.
That’s not governing.
He should be ashamed.

Speaker Johnson has only had the House voting in NINETEEN of the last ONE HUNDRED AND SEVEN days.
He claims Republicans want to end this government shutdown.
Prove it by showing up to work.

So happy to see turnout of thousands of peaceful constituents here in Dana Point. No Kings in our great United States of America! 🇺🇸

Not now, not ever.

It’s been 24 days since Arizona’s 7th District elected the honorable Adelita Grijalva.
Speaker Johnson still hasn’t sworn her in.
The people of AZ-7 have a right to representation.
There’s no excuse for this delay from Mike Johnson.

NEW: From the wholesale gutting of federal agencies to the ongoing government shutdown, Russ Vought has drawn the road map for Trump’s second term.
Vought has consolidated power to an extent that insiders say they feel like “he is the commander in chief.”

Budget Director Russ Vought — an unelected extremist — is effectively running Trump’s government from the shadows.
Is Trump even in charge anymore?
When a partisan operative seizes power in such unprecedented fashion, how is it not front-page news?

Russ Vought is out of control. A federal judge just blocked his scheme to fire 4,000 federal workers during the shutdown—calling it “arbitrary and capricious.” The courts had to step in to stop the abuse, but the legal fight isn’t over. He’s still trying to dismantle government.

Imagine doing everything right—working hard, saving for the future—only to lose your health care because your premiums doubled overnight.
I’m fighting to keep care affordable because Americans deserve leaders who have their backs when their health is on the line.
The 250th birthday of the Marine Corps is a time for pride and celebration — not partisan or political events that shut down I-5 for several hours over two days.

Even Pete Hegseth’s former boss, Fox News, is rejecting the Pentagon’s new reporting rules.
When Fox and NPR are both aligned against you, it’s a bad sign.

So now Trump’s doubling the bailout for Argentina to $40 BILLION while health care premiums are about to double at home for millions and millions of Americans.
