Cutting staff at the Social Security Administration hurts seniors & families the most.
Reminder: Elon Musk was not elected by the American people.
His efforts to dismantle federal agencies, access Americans' confidential information, and force hardworking federal workers out of their jobs are a complete executive overreach.
Withdrawing from the World Health Organization (WHO) & the Paris Climate Agreement is reckless.
We are turning our back on global health care & putting lives at risk.
The President promised lower the prices of groceries on day one.
It is day 43.
My constituents are only seeing their grocery bills rise & 25% tariffs on our closest trading partners will only make that worse.
Tonight, I'm here to witness the President fulfill his duty to address Congress.
Make no mistake, standing up for New Yorkers & fighting back against the administration's harmful policies is my #1 priority.
As a nation we promised to care for those who served. I hope Luke's presence tonight, along with other veterans, will remind the President that he is turning his back on those who sacrificed everything to defend our freedom.
I'm proud to welcome Luke Graziani as my guest tonight as the President addresses a Joint Session of Congress.
Luke is a US Army veteran who was recently terminated from a NYC veterans’ hospital. Veterans like him make up 30% of the federal workforce & some 6,000 have already been fired.

Joint Statement from the Tri-Caucus Chairs on President Trump’s Executive Order Declaring English as the Official Language of the United States:
Thank you to Luke Graziani of #Woodside for accepting my invitation. These mass firings are unconscionable, and his attendance will send a message that the cuts are completely unacceptable. 2/2
To stand against the mass firings of federal employees, a U.S. Army #veteran from #Queens terminated from his job at a NYC veterans hospital, will be my guest for the President's address to Congress on Tuesday. 1/2
What happened in the Oval Office today was not America First. It was America Alone.
When America is isolated from our European allies, we are less safe, less strong, and less prosperous.
I will continue to stand with Ukraine against Putin and Russia.
Ramadan Mubarak to our Muslim community in Queens and those around the world. May this holy month be a time of prayer and reflection with your family, neighbors and loved ones.
