This egregious gerrymander is an attack on voting rights that generations of Black Americans marched and fought and died for. We cannot allow power-hungry politicians to disenfranchise minority communities and rig elections.

House Republicans are refusing to seat Adelita Grijalva, and in the process, are silencing hundreds of thousands of Arizonans because they're afraid of what's in the Epstein Files.
She deserves to be sworn in, and victims deserve justice.
1 in 4 women experience domestic violence. During Domestic Violence Awareness Month, we recognize the strength of survivors and the urgent need to support them with resources and action.
I joined @demwomencaucus.bsky.social to stand in solidarity with survivors.
Climate change is bad for the environment and bad for the economy.
Thanks to @whitehouse.senate.gov, Partners for Environmental Justice, & @nclcv.bsky.social for raising awareness about the danger that climate change poses to renters and homeowners across the country.
Solar energy is good for our environment and good for the economy, creating American jobs and lowering utility bills.
I'm glad to see NC fighting to make sure these grants are available, especially for rural and low-income North Carolinians.

Americans deserve affordable healthcare. They shouldn't be caught up in partisan games.
North Carolinians are already feeling the pain of rising costs and Medicaid cuts. We need to protect our people and make healthcare more affordable.
While Democrats are fighting to keep healthcare affordable, Republicans are ready to let prices skyrocket in North Carolina and across the country.
We cannot let this happen.
Republicans control the House, Senate, and the White House. They chose to shut down the government instead of lowering health insurance price hikes.
They started this, and they have the power to end it. @housedemocrats.bsky.social will keep showing up ready to work with them.
I’m in D.C. with @housedemocrats.bsky.social ready to end the Republican shutdown.
We just need Republicans to do their jobs.
Americans' healthcare costs are on the rise, and they're counting on us to act.
The people of Arizona's 7th Congressional District spoke and they elected @adelitaforcongress.bsky.social to Congress 21 days ago.
Speaker Johnson: Swear her in.
The Voting Rights Act ensures that voters can elect officials that truly represent their communities.
Now, Republicans are trying to eliminate it so they can manipulate their way into office. Voters must choose their officials, not the other way around.

Trump and Republicans already cut nutrition assistance funding in their Big Ugly Law, and their shutdown is making it even harder for NC students to get the food they need.
Republicans need to stop playing games and reopen the government.

Climate change isn't just about melting icebergs. It's also about higher costs for homeowners' insurance.
Renters and homeowners from Rhode Island to North Carolina and beyond know this. Thanks to @whitehouse.senate.gov for visiting NC to talk about the cost of climate change.
It was wonderful to be in Wendell to mark the groundbreaking of the Pleasant Grove Community Center. More than 2 years ago, we announced $2 million in federal funding for this project.
This space will create new opportunities while preserving a deep history in our community.
My statement on NC Republicans' corrupt redistricting plan:

Across North Carolina, climate risk is making homeowners’ insurance more expensive and harder to find.
@whitehouse.senate.gov and @ross.house.gov host a roundtable to hear from local policymakers, state officials, researchers, insurers, and community leaders.
Today we recognize Indigenous PeopIe's Day and honor the history and strength of the Native communities who have shaped our nation.
I will always work to honor the voices of Indigenous communities in North Carolina and beyond.
I had the privilege of visiting the Dix Park Inter-Tribal Pow Wow, where we celebrated Native cultures, music, and community.
Thank you to everyone who made this wonderful celebration possible.
It was a joy to attend Hum Sub's 25th Annual Diwali celebration in Cary. Congratulations on 25 wonderful years and I can’t wait for your next celebration!
This Republican shutdown is harming North Carolinians -- from federal employees and service members not receiving pay to threats to nutrition assistance.
I want to hear how Trump and Republicans have affected you. Share your story at the link below:

Alignment stats consider only votes where a clear yes/no majority existed for the legislator's party. Cross-party marks divergence where the vote matched the opposite party majority. ↔ indicates cross-party divergence.
