We anticipate potentially 100,000 Washingtonians facing evacuation orders. The situation is fluid and changing all the time. We expect rivers to hit historic levels as early as 4 a.m. tomorrow, lasting into Friday morning.

TONIGHT: @adamsmith.house.gov joins @lawrenceodonnell.bsky.social on The #LastWord at 10pm ET.
There is nothing defensible about President Trump's racist and bigoted remarks that target Somalis across the United States. Members of the Somali community live, work, and provide for my district, and I will continue to stand with them against President Trump's attacks.

I stand with all the Somalis in my district and appreciate their service to our community. I condemn President Trump's vile language in the strongest terms.
President Trump continues to spew hateful, bigoted rhetoric about members of the Somali community. Trump's comments only fuel the racism that persists in this country and demonize the hundreds of thousands of hardworking Somali immigrants that are part of our communities.
I joined @msnowreports.bsky.social to discuss the boat strike videos.
We need cleaner, cheaper alternatives to support our neighbors as temperatures drop.
Americans are struggling to pay their utility bills this winter, as the average cost of energy reaches about $976 per month. Families in my district can’t afford these electricity payments but also cannot risk power shutoffs in freezing temperatures.
I spoke with @cnn.com about the video of the September 2 boat strikes.
American consumers are being forced to pay more for everyday essentials — from coffee and ground beef to bananas and more. My constituents can't afford higher grocery bills in the checkout line. We need President Trump to reverse his chaotic policies for the sake of working-class families.

We'll be joined by presenters from Spark Northwest, Puget Sound Energy, and Washington State Department of Commerce’s weatherization team to discuss programs to use during the winter weather to help save on costs.
REMINDER: Join my office for an Energy Efficiency Webinar on tomorrow, Wednesday December 10 at 10 a.m.
I joined @CNN last night to discuss the video of the boat strikes in the Caribbean.
Please continue to follow the National Weather Service for flood and river forecasts, as well as alerts and sandbag locations. For more information on flood resources, visit kingcountyfloodcontrol.org/flood-resour....
Within King County, areas along the Snoqualmie and Tolt Rivers are likely to face flood-related road closures, while low-lying areas near the Green River and Kent and Auburn valley are monitoring elevated water levels.
Atmospheric river flooding continues to impact Western Washington, and is expected to continue through Friday. As water levels rise quickly and local communities ramp up emergency response efforts, it's important to be prepared.
