Trump’s illegal tariffs are the holiday tax nobody asked for. From toys and clothes to tech and home goods, prices are climbing across the board, and Arizona families are paying the price. The Speaker shouldn’t send Congress home without a vote to rein in this abuse of tariff power.
Last month, the Coast Guard assured us this was not happening. Minimizing antisemitism and racism is incredibly dangerous. Do better. www.washingtonpost.com/national-sec...
The swastika is the ultimate symbol of hatred and serves as a call for the annihilation of the Jewish people. The noose is a dark reminder of the horrors of slavery and Jim Crow lynchings in America. Neither symbol is has any place in our society, especially our armed services.
Thank you to the four Republican Members of Congress who today made the right choice and signed the discharge petition. 1️⃣ Rep. Fitz 2️⃣ Rep. Lawler 3️⃣ Rep. Bresnahan 4️⃣ Rep. Mackenzie Now let's get it done and save health care.
House Republicans have a choice to make. This is the last week to avoid a coverage cliff that will push millions off their insurance and even more onto new, more expensive plans. If they're serious about lowering costs, they need to help us extend the ACA tax credits.

Heng Guan risked his life to expose atrocities in China's Uyghur detention camps. If we deport him now, he faces threats of persecution or worse. Cases like this are exactly why the American asylum system exists and protects those courageous enough to blow the whistle.
Congratulations to Desert Vista High School senior Zander Coffman for winning the Congressional App Challenge! Your work is inspiring students across Arizona to learn more about programming. Thank you to ASU's Luminosity Lab for serving as our judges!
Federal buildings aren't just line items on a balance sheet, they’re where veterans get care, small businesses find support, and families access government services. Adding value for people means basing our decisions on data, not on the whims of wealthy donors and billionaire tech bros.
Healthcare costs have never been higher. Today is the final day to sign up for ACA coverage that kicks in January 1st, and House Republicans still won't join us to extend the tax credits that help tens of millions of Americans afford health insurance. What are they waiting for?
Tonight’s menorah lighting in Mesa is a reminder of what the holiday season is about: resilience, community, and joy. Thank you to Rabbi Blotner from the Chabad Jewish Center for celebrating the first night of Hanukkah with me, the City of Mesa, Councilor Duff, Councilor Somers, and Rep. Biggs.
The antisemitic terrorist attack at a Sydney Hanukkah festival is appalling. Jews should feel safe to practice their faith without any fear of violence. May the memories of those lost be a blessing. And as Jewish communities light the Hanukkah candles tonight, may we all find light in the darkness.
At least 11 people were killed on Sunday and more were injured after two gunmen opened fire at a crowd celebrating the first day of the Hanukkah holiday on Bondi Beach in Sydney, Australia. One of the shooters was also killed, the police said. Here is what we know about the attack.
FEMA helps Americans in their darkest hour. The agency isn’t perfect — and its job is only getting harder — but the solution is to build the agency up, not tear it down. Congress needs to pass our bipartisan FEMA Act to give communities the disaster response system they deserve.
