Today, federal agents shot and killed a man in Minneapolis in plain sight. This is why we are fighting back against this lawless administration. Millions are asking us to do something, while our colleagues stand in the way of basic accountability. We must stand for the people and their rights!
I want to give a HUGE shoutout to all of the restaurants and chefs from NM who made the semifinals for the James Beard Awards!  To Bow & Arrow, Burque Bakehouse, Daydream Rum House, and chefs Steve Riley, Graham Dodds, and Danny Calleros—we are wishing you all the luck!  Make us proud!
Yesterday was the 53rd anniversary of Roe v. Wade, and we were with the leadership of @ppfa.org to talk about the fight ahead.  We stand shoulder to shoulder with the leaders and advocates who refuse to back down in the fight for reproductive justice. Because, healthcare is a human right. 💕
The buck stops here. Literally. Today, the House is voting on multiple funding bills and a War Powers Resolution I cosponsored with @repmcgovern.bsky.social. It’s time for Congress to reassert our authority and rein this Administration in!
On the anniversary of Citizens United, I have one thing to say: get big money out of politics! Elections belong to the people, not billionaire donors, corporations, and dark money. The people. This MUST be a top priority when we take back the House. It’s time to overturn Citizens United!
Today, as we reflect on the life, legacy, & leadership of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., let us remember that the arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice. Not because it is inevitable—but because ordinary people choose courage over comfort, truth over silence, and love over hate.
