The day we’ve waited for has finally arrived! It was truly an honor to be at the grand opening of Sandia Pueblo’s new Early Childhood Development Center!
This state-of-the-art school is not only to learn reading, writing, and arithmetic, but also language and culture, and to create future leaders!
Happy birthday to the one and only, @govmlg.bsky.social!
Thank you for leading our state with such fierceness and always bringing the fun.
Grateful to be in this fight with you!
Even as the shutdown continues, we are working for NM-01!

These bills are about ensuring that every family has a home that is not only affordable, but safe, sustainable, and built to last.
We’ve had an amazing time back in the district this week! Thank you to everyone who showed up to our Town Halls—whether in person, on the phone, or online!
And, to all of our federal workers out there who are furloughed or working without pay: THANK YOU! We appreciate you so much!
Couldn’t make it to my Albuquerque Town Hall happening right now? Stream it here:
House leadership seems more focused on shielding the Trump Admin from accountability than actually doing their job.
Speaker, it’s time to get back to work: bring back the House, end the shutdown, swear in Rep. Adelita Grijalva, and finally give the Epstein survivors the justice they deserve!
Yesterday we visited TSA workers at the ABQ Sunport who are working without pay to keep our country safe. We’re grateful to all of our federal workers who continue to show up. It’s way past time to bring back the House and end the shutdown! The safety of our communities literally depends on it!
As millions are without work, unable to afford groceries and basic necessities, and the government is shut down—the President is building a ballroom funded by billionaires and threatening to cut off food assistance to millions of families.
That is the timeline we’re living in. Sound familiar?

As we enter Day 21 of the government shutdown, it’s important to understand that this is part of a concerted, organized, and well-funded effort to dismantle and reshape the federal government.
But 7 million marched in the streets this weekend to say: the American people will not stand for it. ✊
Friends, we’re back in the heart of NM-01 and spending time this week with all of YOU across our communities. From Town Halls, to volunteering, to thanking our federal workers, to everything in between, come out and say hi! We want to hear from you!

Oversight Dems aren’t letting up on the Jeffrey Epstein investigation.
Release the files, NOW.
To everyone who showed up all across the country for our democracy this weekend—THANK YOU!
We know you’re not buying the lies, lawlessness, and dismantling of our democracy. Keep showing up!
Have you been impacted by the government shutdown?
Now more than ever, it's important we hear your stories.
Please share your story with my office here, and please join us for one of our town halls this week, including in Rio Rancho tomorrow!

Earlier this week, we played a round of "Two Truths and a Lie" with @mcbride.house.gov and let's just say, the truth is stranger than fiction when it comes to what is happening in the House right now.
The facts speak for themselves!
We know that water is life. Yet too many communities still lack access to clean water and our bedrock environmental laws face unprecedented attacks.
Clean water is a human right. We must continue to fight for our precious, life giving waters!
The Clean Water Act became law 51 years ago today. Vital to protecting our rivers, lakes, and streams—and every community that depends on safe, clean, and abundant water.
They are trying to silence speech and the foundation of our democracy and WE WILL NOT LET THEM! Keep marching, keep speaking up, keep speaking out, and keep practicing democracy every day! ❌👑✊
Standing in solidarity with countless Americans, exercising in their rights to free speech and assembly today! 🇺🇸✊💕
