President Trump’s FY2026 budget proposes cutting LIHEAP—a program that helps West Michiganders pay their utility bills without sacrificing other necessities.
I stand in support of fully funding LIHEAP and encourage my Republican colleagues to stand in support of their constituents and do the same.
There are few things more frustrating than going to book a reasonably priced hotel, then getting to the final checkout page and seeing additional fees. That’s why I proudly voted for the Hotel Fees Transparency Act, a bipartisan bill to make sure you see the ~actual~ price up front.
In his first 100 days in office, Trump has caused prices to RISE and stocks to DROP.
And he says he’s just getting started.
