Gambling addiction can devastate individuals and families, yet too many communities still lack the resources needed for prevention, treatment, and support. My new bill will invest the money from gambling taxes to expand care, raise awareness, and connect folks to resources for recovery. (1/2)

Today on Vietnam War Veterans Day, I honor my father and all who sacrificed to serve this country. We owe it to them to uphold our commitments to those who served. We also owe it to them not to repeat mistakes that will put a new generation in harm’s way.
Oregonians never wanted an ICE detention facility in our state. I am glad that the Administration confirmed they currently have no plans to build or expand any ICE detention facility in Oregon. I will keep using every avenue available to call out ICE’s overreach and keep our communities safe.
Families across the nation are skipping meals to stretch their groceries out because they simply can’t afford them. What’s even worse, President Trump’s war in Iran is costing Americans billions of dollars when those dollars could be used here at home to give real financial relief to folks.
HUGE NEWS: @merkley.senate.gov , @repvalhoyle.bsky.social, and I led our colleagues last month in a letter saying "NO" to any ICE detention facilities in Oregon. I'm glad to say that ICE has confirmed that no new ICE facilities will be built in our state!
Oregonians often ask me at town halls how we can push back against the Trump Administration and protect our elections from his interference. If you want to hear more, join our roundtable next Monday at noon!

Christian is a 17-year-old from #McMinnville, and this morning I shared his story about how he was brutally detained by ICE even though he is a U.S. citizen. The bottom line: Trump is hurting our children. Trump is creating generational trauma. Trump is failing.
“Daddy, police!” are some of the last words that Mahdi from #Beaverton heard from his child when he was brutally detained by ICE while dropping his baby off at daycare. Trump isn’t going after the “worst of the worst.” He is ripping families apart.
As Trump continues to try to erode the cornerstone of our democracy, I am fighting back to safeguard your voting rights. Make sure to RSVP to tune in to our conversation on Monday, March 30, 2026, at 12:00 PM PT.

Today is #EqualPayDay, and Latinas face some of the largest pay gaps. On average, they make 54 cents for every dollar paid to their white male counterparts. Nuestros trabajadores y familias merecen más. (1/2)
President Trump could have avoided 40 days of hardship, stress, and second jobs for these workers, but he wanted to play political games instead. Democrats had a proposal to fund TSA, FEMA, and the Coast Guard. Republicans rejected it.
BREAKING: President Trump says he will sign an emergency order to pay TSA agents as Congress struggles to reach funding deal.
President Trump is undermining veterans’ mental health care. Calls at the VA are going unanswered, therapists are being lost, and wait times are unacceptable. As the daughter of a veteran and as co-chair of the Mental Health Caucus, I’m committed to protecting our veterans’ hard-earned care.
