Happy Saint Patrick's Day, #OR06 🍀
I hope your day is filled with lots of fun and luck 🌈
$500,000 is headed to the Beaverton Behavioral Health Court.
This funding will help staff continue supporting people experiencing mental health challenges by connecting them with treatment, stability, and recovery resources.
A WEEK from TODAY! Join me and @agdanrayfield.bsky.social for a LIVE telephone town hall to hear from us on the work that we are doing for YOU ☎️

I joined the Oregon Health Care Association for a visit to Marquis Tualatin, a post-acute rehabilitation and long-term care campus.
After our tour, I chatted with Rosie from OHCA about how we can improve the lives of seniors and people with disabilities by ensuring they get the services they need.
Oregon is stronger because of the many cultures, languages, and religions that make up our state. Islamophobic policies like this are disgusting, and they don’t reflect who we are. We should be focused on ideas that bring people together and support our communities, not divide them.

Stay safe out there! (2/2)
Due to the threat of extreme weather in Washington, D.C., my D.C. office will be closed starting at 2:00pm ET/11:00am PT. To contact my office, please call my Tualatin or Salem district offices. (1/2)

1 in 3 adults reported feeling lonely, something that can deeply impact a person's mental health. Building connections & community has never been more important.
If you or someone you know may be feeling isolated, reach out to a mental health professional. You are not alone 🫂 #MentalHealthMonday
I recently spoke at the American Lands Project reception about how I am fighting for Roadless Area protections.
These pristine, wild forest lands represent some of our most important natural resources, and Trump is hell-bent on dismantling these existing safeguards.

I’m proud to co-lead the @houseseec.bsky.social Innovation & Technology Task Force with @salinas.house.gov in endorsing four bills to accelerate next-generation clean technologies and strengthen American energy independence.

FRIDAY REMINDER ❗️The Trump Administration has STRIPPED federal nutrition assistance from MILLIONS of Americans — including nearly two million children.
I’m grateful for the first responders who reacted quickly to these attacks. We must do more to keep our communities safe and make it harder for people to access deadly weapons. (2/2)
The acts of violence we witnessed today at a synagogue in Michigan and at Old Dominion University are devastating. Americans should not have to fear for their lives at school, places or worship, or anywhere else in public. (1/2)
Girl Scouts was founded on this day in 1912! For more than a century, the organization has taught young women to lead with courage and confidence.
As part of the @demwomencaucus.bsky.social, I’m proud to fight for opportunities and equity for girls everywhere.

No one should live in fear when they go to worship. Today’s attack against the Jewish community in Michigan was horrifying. Antisemitism has no place in our country, and we must stand against violence and hate wherever it occurs.
Tomorrow is the LAST DAY to apply for an internship in my #Salem and #Tualatin offices ❗️
Make sure you get your application in before the deadline. Submission details below ↙️
Did you know the #1 movie out right now is set in a fictionalized version of Beaverton? 🦫
Pretty special to see our community featured in Pixar’s “Hoppers” and to welcome the cast into town to celebrate opening day.
President Trump burns billions each week on his unauthorized war across the globe.
Meanwhile, folks back home face impossible prices for gas, groceries, and health care.
The disconnect is hard to ignore.
Hey Oregonians! Join me and @agdanrayfield.bsky.social on Monday, March 23, for a public telephone town hall to receive an update on the work that we are doing for you and your neighbors!
