During Black Maternal Health Week, we raise awareness about the barriers to accessing culturally relevant mental & physical health care that Black moms face. Black Maternal Health Week calls on all of us to confront inequities in maternal care for moms across the nation. #MentalHealthMonday (1/2)
I was in #McMinnville for the grand opening of Stratus Village, a brand-new affordable housing community that will provide folks with quality housing!    Hear from Vickie Ybarguen, the Executive Director of Housing Authority of Yamhill County, and me about this exciting day.
I always appreciate talking with Oregonians about service, community, and how we can work together to solve problems. Thank you to the Dallas Rotary for having me and for everything you do for Polk County!
I spoke with Diana and her granddaughter, Jay, about Social Security.   I’m working to protect and expand the benefits seniors have earned, while making sure Social Security is around for future generations.

Inflation has reached its highest level in YEARS, all thanks to President Trump. His war in Iran and other ill-thought-out policies have destabilized our economy and increased financial strain on hardworking families. He has continuously broken his promise to the American people.
U.S. inflation surged in March to 3.3%, the highest inflation rate in years. Gasoline prices skyrocketed by over 21% last month alone.
I delivered $1 MILLION to the City of Dallas to help extend sewer service that will unlock 222 acres for housing and economic development in #OR06! This funding is vital to meeting the demands of our growing community while safeguarding public health.
This year’s historically warm winter in Oregon has led to worse drought conditions and could increase the threat of wildfires — and we need to prepare. I led my colleagues in calling out the Trump Administration, demanding that they do more to prepare rather than cut staff and funding.
