Thank you to everyone who joined me and @wyden.senate.gov at our town hall in #Monmouth
It was so great to see so many folks from our #OR06 community and to hear about the issues that matter most to you! (1/2)
Social Security changed America for the better. On its 90th birthday, I’m committed to protecting these hard-earned benefits and stopping Trump’s attacks on the Social Security Administration.
Watch to hear my promise to you 🎧
This funding puts OHSU even more prominently on the map for their world-class cancer research. I can’t wait to see the discoveries this work leads to. (2/2)
We all owe Phil and Penny Knight an incredible debt of gratitude. Their $2 billion donation to OHSU cancer research gives families 2 billion more reasons to have hope for a cure. (1/2)
Millions of Americans rely on Social Security to receive their survivors' benefits and disability payments, allowing them to lead comfortable lives.
I will not stop fighting for the over 143,000 Oregonians in #OR06 who rely on this lifesaving program.
The Life of a Congresswoman.
TODAY at 5:00 PM PT, @wyden.senate.gov and I will be hosting a public town hall for you and your neighbors.
See you soon!

Happy Birthday, Social Security! 90 years ago today, President Roosevelt signed the Social Security Act into law. Over the years, Social Security has helped keep millions out of poverty.
Today, I am working to safeguard Social Security from President Trump's attacks.
I held a roundtable in #Salem to discuss the devastating impact of cutting billions in nutrition assistance for hardworking families.
Republicans have made it clear that they prioritize the wealthiest Americans, but I'll keep working to ensure that folks can put food on the dinner table every day.
The Trump Admin just cancelled the EPA’s collective bargaining agreement. This is yet another assault on workplace rights and the environment.
As your member of Congress, I will continue to stand with AFGE and American labor to safeguard the rights of our workers.
Breaking: Trump’s Big, Ugly Bill leaves working Americans in the dust. Who could have guessed?!
A NEW nonpartisan analysis found that Republicans’ Big, Ugly Bill will make the richest even richer, and the poorest even poorer.

I am joining @wyden.senate.gov this THURSDAY, August 14th, at 5:00 PM PT for a public town hall!
Join us at Western Oregon University’s Werner Center to hear more about the work we are doing for YOU in Congress!

The truth about the Big, Ugly Tax Scam is that more people will become sicker, hungrier, and poorer.
In Oregon, we will lose $15 billion in federal funding because Republicans chose to give BIG tax breaks to billionaires instead of helping hardworking Americans.

Providing farmers with the right tools is crucial for their success. 🚜
I visited Papé Machinery in McMinnville to learn more about how they supply farmers with essential equipment. I also hosted a roundtable with local growers to discuss their challenges and how I can support their operations.
Mental health is so important for everyone, from our youngest to our oldest citizens.
Older adulthood can bring health challenges & life transitions, but depression isn't an inevitable part of aging. With the right care, our community can help older adults thrive.

VA Secretary Collins just terminated collective bargaining agreements at the VA. This will hurt our veterans and our workers. I’m proud to stand with AFGE in our work to support unions, not fight them.
Hey #OR06, I will be co-hosting an in-person town hall on Thursday, August 14th, with my friend, @wyden.senate.gov, at Western Oregon University’s Werner Center!
Everyone is invited to come ask us about our work in Congress!

You can blame higher energy costs on Republicans’ Big, Ugly Bill.
The bill makes wind & solar energy more expensive in favor of outdated & costly coal power, making it more expensive to build much-needed energy infrastructure.
That’s bad news for our environment, for our health, & for our wallets.
Republicans' Big, Ugly Bill is outright UGLY.
It will force more than 15 million off their health care while skyrocketing costs for millions more.
We should be strengthening Medicare and Medicaid, not ripping care away.
I'll keep working until everyone has the care they deserve.
Our veterans put their lives on the line for our country. The least we can do is provide them quality health care & benefits.
Instead of serving our veterans, President Trump & Republicans are defunding the VA, firing doctors & workers, and making it harder for veterans to get the care they need.
