This National Volunteer Month we celebrate our friends and neighbors volunteering to help our communities and country. Thank you to everyone volunteering to provide essential services and transform our world for good.

Simple, everyday conversations help shape how future generations understand saving, protection, and long-term planning. Expanding access to financial education early in life is essential to building lasting financial confidence. #FinancialLiteracyMonth

Congratulations to all of the winners for being recognized for your contributions to labor, including the Napa County Board of Supervisors for being named the 2026 Mike Thompson Legislator’s Legacy Award Winner! (2/2)
Congratulations on this year’s 16th Annual Napa-Solano Central Labor Council Spring Salute! A strong workforce is the backbone of our economy, and hard-working men and women like the members of the Napa Solano Central Labor Council keep our community moving. (1/2)
Great to meet with Chico State President Steve Perez. Proud to be a CSU alum and to work with students, faculty, and administrators to help lower higher ed costs and make education more accessible.
Today, my thoughts are with the friends and families of those lost and the entire Virginia Tech community. We must continue to work to reduce gun violence and help keep our communities safe. (2/2)
Today is Tax Day, and millions of hardworking Americans are feeling squeezed. This administration promised tax relief to working people. Instead, they delivered massive tax cuts to wealthy donors and big corporations and gave a fraction of what was promised to everyone else.
Four million miles and counting! Got to sit in the cockpit to get my certificate before returning to my regular Row 20 bulkhead seat. I fly home from Washington every week to meet with local leaders and hear directly from members of our community. It’s the only way to do this job right.

Today, we remember the eight lives lost in the senseless shooting at the FedEx warehouse facility in Indianapolis five years ago. My heart is with the victims’ friends and family members. We must continue to work to pass sensible policies that make our communities safer.
By expanding affordable housing tax credits, lowering energy bills, and decreasing the cost of healthcare for working families my American Affordability Act will ease financial strains and put money back in your pocket. (2/2)
Great to bring the community together with @rephuffman.bsky.social and Mayor McDonnell for a roundtable on affordability in Petaluma. Whether it’s housing costs, energy bills, gas prices, or more, the cost of living is too high for Americans. (1/2)
We should be making it easier for people to file their taxes, not scaring people away from paying. According to the Yale Budget Lab, the IRS’ new policy sharing undocumented immigrants’ private taxpayer info with immigration officials could cause up to $300B in lost tax revenue.
THURSDAY: Members of my staff and Supervisor Brad Rasmussen will be at Lakeport City Hall from 2 to 4PM to discuss issues impacting you and our community. If you need help navigating the federal government, my team is ready to help.
Nearly a year after H.R. 1 cut health care for millions, the cost of health care is only going up. My American Affordability Act will lower costs by expanding health insurance premium tax credits, closing coverage gaps, and requiring coverage of recommended vaccines.
Great to join local leaders to break ground on the Highway 101 Bike and Pedestrian Overcrossing. This project will provide a safe and direct route to walk or bike across Highway 101 in Santa Rosa. I’m proud that the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law provided significant funding for this project.
