Republicans in Congress have done nothing to stop inflation or lower costs. Nothing to help families. Nothing to make housing more affordable or transit more reliable.
Rent prices are through the roof & buying a home feels more out of reach than ever. Working families are paying more & waiting longer to get to & from work every day.
Republicans’ solution? Cutting a billion dollars from housing programs & slashing transportation funding. Live: youtu.be/Pn9S6-Cyi7Y
Republicans just passed the largest health care cut in history & now hundreds of rural hospitals are projected to close.
My bipartisan bill, the Prioritizing Rural Hospitals Act, would prioritize funding for rural hospitals to help stop this from happening: bit.ly/4eVHVy7
Congress controls the power of the purse. The Trump Administration is once again illegally withholding funds that Congress already passed into law and our kids are paying the price.

@housedemocrats.bsky.social’s task force is fighting the Trump Administration’s actions in court as they happen in real time.
We’ve filed more than 331 cases against harmful executive orders and agency actions, and almost 200 court orders blocking their unconstitutional actions have been issued.
Secretary Noem and I both took the same oath to defend the Constitution. I’ll keep holding her accountable to it.

I cannot support a funding bill that allows Secretary Noem and DHS to continue to illegally spend hundreds of millions of our taxpayer dollars, violate our constitutional rights, and put America’s security at risk.
My bipartisan Baby Changing on Board Act has passed the House and is full steam ahead to the Senate! 🚂❤️
We’re making sure every new Amtrak train has a baby changing station in at least one restroom per car.
Politicizing health care with junk science in an effort to restrict our freedoms is unacceptable.
No one should be priced out of the treatment and health care that can help them have a baby.
My bill, The Health Coverage for IVF Act, makes sure that families are able to access this essential care.

I passed an amendment that would stop Secretary Noem from using our taxpayer dollars to continue violating our constitutional rights.
I offered a simple amendment that wouldn’t cost a cent: Let’s make sure new moms who work for us in Congress are guaranteed breaks to pump.
Every single Republican voted no.

My new bill would finally require insurance companies to cover IVF and other fertility care. Read more: underwood.house.gov/media/press-...
Happy Independence Day, Illinois! Wishing everyone in our community a safe holiday with friends and family.
The Republican tax scam is an assault on our health care.
17 million Americans losing their health care. Over 3 trillion added to the debt. Food stolen from the mouths of hungry kids and moms. 218 Republicans just voted for all of this to hand billionaires another tax break.
This bill is heartless, cruel, and deeply shameful. I voted NO.
I offered an amendment to the Big, Ugly Bill that would have prevented millions of Americans from losing their health care coverage. Thank you @hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social for reminding the American people that Republicans voted it down.
For more than seven hours Leader Jeffries has held the floor, lifting up the voices of Americans around the country and fighting this Big, Ugly Bill. Submit YOUR story here! 👇🏿https://democraticleader.house.gov/shareyourstory
Keep up the PRESSURE! House Republicans do not have the votes to pass their tax scam and everything is stopped while they "negotiate.” @housedemocrats.bsky.social are voting NO.
