As data centers & heat waves strain our grid & Americans risk power blackouts, Trump is stalling clean energy across the country, including a MD offshore wind project that could power over 700k homes.
Trump's attacks on clean energy are hurting Americans & their pocketbooks.

It's up to all of us to carry on John's legacy, get in some Good Trouble, & take the next step in our collective march to build our more perfect union.

6 years ago today, we lost a giant of our history.
I will never forget traveling with John Lewis on three civil rights pilgrimages to Alabama & marching over the Edmund Pettus Bridge where, in 1965, he was beaten bloody while marching for the right to vote.

Trump's speech tonight was a 5-alarm fire for our democracy, our Constitution, and our country.
No matter your political party, we must stand together for our democracy & fight back against this attempt to undermine it. No Kings.
Tonight, according to reports, Trump will again try to sow doubt about the 2020 elections with the hopes of rigging the 2026 midterms.
Trouble is, Trump's own Intelligence Community, during his first term, found ZERO evidence for his claims.
Don’t fall for his con.
Trump campaigned against forever wars. But by returning to full-scale war in Iran, he's dragging us into another endless conflict, breaking his promise yet again.
Trump's war has been a disaster for the American people, he must end it now.
The Beltsville Agricultural Research Center in MD develops the food safety practices that prevent food-borne illnesses like Cyclospora.
Yet, this admin is trying to close BARC with a half-baked plan that threatens critical research, wastes taxpayer money, & risks more outbreaks.
Just last week, the Trump admin halted the project to put Harriet Tubman on the $20 bill. Now, they're all too happy to stroke Trump's ego & put his face on a coin.
Our currency should honor the best of America, not those who've done everything to destroy its founding promise.
We will fight this.
ICE shot & killed 2 more people within a week, bringing the total to 10 since Trump's return.
We know from the cases of Renee Good & Alex Pretti, that DHS will lie to avoid accountability.
We must get the truth and end this killing spree.
Less than two months ago, Blanche committed to meeting with survivors of Epstein's abuse.
Today, all the sudden, he says he can't.
What changed?
Reposted bySenator Chris Van Hollen
We will not let Todd Blanche dismiss or ignore Epstein survivors.
In May, he told us he would meet with survivors whose private info was released by the Justice Department. That meeting still isn't scheduled.
@vanhollen.senate.gov and I are demanding answers.
Today, the Senate will take a key vote on a $1.1 TRILLION defense bill.
Not only does this effectively green light Trump's illegal Iran war, it also gives the Israeli govt immense leverage over our national security.
In 2023, we saw firsthand the risk that could pose⬇️
Back in May, acting-AG Blanche told @murray.senate.gov & me that if we connected him with survivors of Epstein's abuse, he would meet with them.
2 months later, after repeated outreach, nothing.
Today, we're demanding he live up to his commitment.
Tomorrow, the Senate will take a key vote on the $1.1 TRILLION defense bill.
It not only fails to rein in Trump’s Iran war, it also has a provision touted by PM Netanyahu to MANDATE more U.S. defense cooperation with Israel.
None of this is in our national security interests. I will vote NO.
Trump's lawsuit against the IRS was an orchestrated sham to get Trump near-total immunity from investigations into his & his company's finances.
As the judge said, "there was never a question as to who would prevail."
The only question now is what he wanted the immunity for.
Netanyahu is simply lying here when he says there has been transparency about these killings.
We have been seeking justice for 9 Americans, including Saif Musallet, killed by settlers or Israeli security forces on the West Bank in the last 4 years.
In none of these deaths has justice been served.
Trump has tried to pit Americans against one another to distract from the real fight: the fact that he and his billionaire buddies are rigging the system against workers.
We must call it out at every turn.
After losing in court, the Trump admin is now threatening election officials in Maryland and across the country to get access to voter rolls.
This is yet another outrageous attempt to sow doubt in our democracy & intimidate states.
We must hold the line.

On Tuesday, another person was killed by Trump's ICE operation. Lorenzo Salgado Araujo was shot & killed on his way to work.
Americans deserve answers. There must be an independent investigation & ALL findings must be shared. The killing with impunity must stop.

Alignment stats consider only votes where a clear yes/no majority existed for the legislator's party. Cross-party marks divergence where the vote matched the opposite party majority. ↔ indicates cross-party divergence.
