Last week, I met with Farm Bureau President Zippy Duvall—a Georgia farmer who's spent his life helping feed Georgia families. Farmers have never had it easy, and right now is an especially hard time for our producers. I’m glad to have partners like Zippy in my work to champion Georgia farmers.
I am heartbroken to hear of the senseless killing of 2 precious young people last night near the Capital Jewish Museum. Hate has struck again. It must ALWAYS be condemned and this violence must stop. Let us pray for these grieving families, let us work for peace.
During decades of public service, Joe Biden has been a fierce champion in some of the biggest fights. I know he’ll bring the same tenacity to his own battle with cancer. Strength and grace to him, Dr. Jill and their entire family during this time. 🙏🏾
I agree with Dalton's GOP Rep. Carpenter. Ximena is a young woman who was brought here through no fault of her own, who only knows a life in Georgia, and has worked hard to contribute to her community. Ximena should be released.
GA State Rep. Kasey Carpenter (R) has been outspoken in advocating for the release of Ximena Arias-Cristobal, a 19-year-old undocumented college student who was detained by ICE after a mistaken traffic stop in Dalton, GA.
