DeSantis and Ladapo put Floridians with HIV in a life-or-death situation that should never have happened.
This agreement is welcome news, but we should not put a cap on the number of Floridians who can receive lifesaving treatment. We'll continue the fight until that changes.

Today, on Memorial Day, we honor those who fought to preserve our freedom and ideals by vowing to never forget that, only because of their sacrifice, does our democracy live on. Thank you to all who served and sacrificed.
Proud to join @repdarrenSoto.bsky.social and the entire Florida Democratic delegation in securing the release of badly needed Medicaid funding for Florida hospitals so our most vulnerable can get the care they need.

Thanks to my Virginia Graeme Baker Pool and Spa Safety Act, the CPSC awarded $4 million to bolster drowning prevention efforts across the nation.
As we head into summer, it’s critical that our communities are able to stop these preventable tragedies.

My bipartisan EARLY Reauthorization Act passed unanimously out of the Energy and Commerce Committee, 48 to 0!
We're one step closer to ensuring high-risk women and women living with breast cancer can continue to receive the tools and resources needed to live healthy lives.
It’s critical that parents who need nutritious products for their newborns can get them.
I just introduced a bipartisan bill with Rep. Ashley Hinson to provide parents who are medically unable to breastfeed with financial assistance to buy formula and donor breast milk.
Proud to join @demwomencaucus.bsky.social, @cheyennehunt.bsky.social, and advocates and survivors of sexual abuse yesterday to confront misogyny and gender bias in Congress.
I'll always stand with survivors to hold abusers accountable and prevent it from happening again.
America’s diversity is our strength and a source of pride for all of us.
I hosted a Jewish American Heritage Month event with @housedemocrats.bsky.social and the Congressional Jewish Caucus to celebrate the contributions of Jewish Americans and our work to combat antisemitism. Happy JAHM!
Join me at my annual Small Business Workshop on Saturday, May 30, where local agencies will provide marketing, management and financial guidance to small business owners or those interested in starting one in South Florida.

Republicans claim to be tough on crime, yet Trump brazenly pardons fraudsters, lifts sanctions on dictators, and covers up the Epstein files.
I don't know what reality Republican leaders live in, but it's not this one.
Bon Fet Drapo Ayisyen! This flag rose out of a revolution for freedom, independence and the defiance of colonialism and oppression. It marks a watershed day for the resilient Haitian people. 🇭🇹
If Trump's DOJ won't prosecute wealthy foreign officials and elites who came here to exploit children with Jeffrey Epstein, Congress must step up.
My No Escaping Justice Act hold foreign nationals implicated in Epstein's crimes accountable.
Trump wants taxpayers to fund his arch vanity project and a billion more for his gold ballroom.
We should invest our tax dollars to make life more affordable for working families, not to stroke the president's fragile ego.
The Everglades internment camp will reportedly close because the Trump administration still refuses to pay back Floridians more than $1 billion in wasted tax dollars.
But the fight isn't over. We must hold those responsible accountable.
Our bipartisan MilCon & VA funding bill overwhelmingly passed the House! It avoids painful cuts Democrats oppose, funds veteran healthcare & keeps our commitment to veterans exposed to toxins.
It's a rare across-the-aisle delivery of services veterans & servicemembers earned.
As co-chairs of the Congressional Caucus on Black-Jewish Relations, @repnikema.bsky.social and I proudly celebrate Jewish American History Month:
As a cancer survivor, it's my personal & professional mission to confront it with an all-hands-on-deck approach.
Today, I introduced the bipartisan Lainie Jones Comprehensive Cancer Survivorship Act to help survivors choose their own path & control their healthcare experience.

Lawmakers rejected @wassermanschultz.house.gov's amendment to prevent convicted domestic abusers from accessing firearms.
We know that women are 5 TIMES more likely to be killed if their abuser has access to a gun.
This amendment was commonsense. Lawmakers should be ashamed.
