The lawless nature of this man will continue to reveal itself on the court, mark my words. It’s like Capone putting Frank Nitti on the bench. Character will out.
Information will continue to come out about his two other significant episodes of prosecutorial misconduct during his brief rotten stint at DOJ (three episodes of serious misconduct in six months sets an all-time DOJ misconduct record).
We may even find out that this guy has fingerprints on the “administrative stay” that stalled the contempt hearing, so his confirmation could proceed before those facts came out. If that was the purpose of the “stay,” the stink is profound.
The stalled contempt hearing about his illegal deportation fiasco will bring out testimony that Senate Republicans let him dodge, which will illuminate that sorry saga with real testimony under oath.
This isn’t over, even when subservient Senate Republicans ignore another whistleblower and shove this character through their new-low, hide-the-ball Senate confirmation process and onto the bench.
Higher Ground International is a life-changing resource for West African immigrant and refugee communities in RI. Glad to celebrate the expansion of HGI's services and new headquarters, which was made possible by the $935K in federal funding we secured.
How humans are losing water supply thanks to fossil fuel’s climate pollution.
Also a subject of our Budget hearings. “Climate-flation” is for real and hitting grocery shelves near you.
I can still sing many of his songs. Memorable. RIP.
As we pointed out in my Budget hearings. Yet Fannie and Freddie keep accepting those ratings and won’t answer our questions.

I asked Senator Whitehouse for his thoughts on how we the people can better engage in this fight for American democracy. Here are his three excellent suggestions:

Sloppy and unprofessional MAGA DOJ work is an embarrassment to the Department, and the false statements will likely follow those agents’ careers as Giglio material.

BREAKING: Sens. DURBIN, WHITEHOUSE press for public commitments from Justice Department after meeting with Epstein co-conspirator, sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell.
Demands include releasing recording and notes, not pardoning Maxwell, providing transparency to survivors, more.
Tune in tomorrow night, and submit a question in the replies ⬇️

“Privilege” is quite the word choice
Boys & Girls Club of Pawtucket expands opportunities for kids across the city. Glad to secure $642K federal funding to increase access to programming at the Pawtucket Clubhouse and help kids meet their full potential.
What happened to President Trump’s original plan of releasing *all* the Epstein files?
