Today, I am proud to join my @houseagdems.bsky.social colleagues in urging Speaker Johnson to reconsider the proposed cuts to SNAP.
I will never stop fighting to protect this invaluable program that thousands of 12th District families need to survive.

Happy International Women’s Day! Here’s to all the women who’ve been breaking barriers, shattering glass ceilings, and making history—while looking fabulous doing it. Let’s keep proving men wrong, ladies!
REMINDER: Tomorrow I will be hosting an in-person town hall. I hope to see you there.

President Trump’s withdrawal of support for Ukraine shows he’s always going to put his ego before our allies, even if it means siding with Putin and threatening democracy around the world.
I’m proud to continue to support Ukraine in their fight—even when this administration won’t.
The Trump Administration is once again using the federal government to attack teachers, students, and schools that dare to promote fairness and inclusion.

My statement on Elon Musks' unprecedented access to federal government infrastructure:

I’m proud to introduce this legislation honoring the over 1000 chapters worldwide of Alpha Kappa Alpha, our 120,000 members, and the 117 years of volunteering and service we do for our communities.
The Federal Highway Administration is releasing over $300 million to help repair highways in areas affected by Tropical Storm Helene. Thank you to Secretary Pete Buttigieg and the Federal Government for working around the clock to help North Carolinians affected by this awful storm.
North Carolina is stronger for their service in the US House. When the people of our state get their fair share of democracy in fair maps, there will be many big shoes to fill.
