The funding that I secured supports our counties, towns, schools, and community organizations. It improves the quality of life for families throughout Georgia’s Second Congressional District, whether they live in urban or rural areas.
Georgians work hard and Congress should be matching that effort to ensure that they can afford to live in safe communities with clean water.
Instead of making good quality care more affordable, Congressional Republican leaders are asking Americans to accept less coverage, less quality, and take on more of the cost for their health care treatment.
The ACA enhanced tax credits were allowed to expire to help pay for billionaire tax breaks in the ‘big, ugly bill’ passed last July.
Today, I, along with a bipartisan group of U.S. House members, passed a bill to restore the ACA enhanced tax credits and make good quality health care affordable again. The U.S. Senate must quickly pass this bill, and the President should sign this into law.

I am deeply honored to receive this recognition from AUSA. Our national defense and security are built on a foundation of the people who serve, ensuring that they are the best equipped fighting force in the world, & that their families are taken care of so that they can focus on the mission at hand.
We were joined by the family of U.S. Capitol Police officers whose lives were lost because of this attack, and we remember the brave Capitol Police who risked their lives in protection of democracy.
Today, I joined my colleagues in Congress commemorating the 5th Anniversary of the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol.
My wife, Vivian, & I offer our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, & all who mourn his loss.
Today, I mourn the passing of Rep. Doug LaMalfa of California.
He was a hardworking member of Congress & will be greatly missed. I enjoyed our camaraderie as co-chairs of the Congressional Automotive Performance & Motorsports Caucus.
