Honored to support St. Stephen’s Community House and to pack food bags and boxes. With affordability still a concern for so many families, especially during the holidays, our collective work to ensure every Ohioan is fed continues. Grateful for St. Stephen’s and their compassionate service.

This closure is a devastating loss for our community. It isn't accidental – it's the direct result of the Trump Admin's and House Republicans’ efforts to dismantle women's health care. I remain committed to pushing back against these targeted attacks.

Today, in the House Financial Services Committee, I advocated for Ohio consumers by encouraging federal regulators to help banks and credit unions prevent fraud and protect families’ savings.

I was proud to honor the Mother of the Civil Rights movement, Rosa Parks, on the House floor. Twenty years ago, I led the effort for Ohio to make 12/1 Rosa Parks Day.
Tonight, I urged Congress to make it a federal holiday, carrying Rosa's legacy forward with action worthy of her courage.
Final day to RSVP. Join me, Rep. James Clyburn, Ed Gordon, OSU President Ted Carter, and COTA President & CEO Monica Téllez-Fowler for The Power of One: In the Company of Courage this Friday. RSVP today: bit.ly/ROSAAT20 or with the link in my bio.
Seventy years ago today, Rosa Parks’ act of courage lit a path that still guides us toward justice. As we honor her, we must act. It is time to make December 1st a federal holiday. Next year, as our nation celebrates its founding fathers, let us also honor our democracy’s mothers.

As we gather this Thanksgiving, I am grateful for the unity, kindness, and determination that define our Ohio community. Today reminds us that even in challenging moments, we find hope in one another and in the values that keep us moving forward: gratitude, service, and unity.
My heart is with the families of the National Guard service members shot today. Violence has no place in our country. I am grateful for the officers and first responders who arrested a suspect. Let us keep these service members and their loved ones in our prayers during this difficult time.

Today, I stopped by a local Kroger in Columbus to thank their employees for everything they do for the community - especially as we approach the holiday season!
I joined Mayor Ginther and other Columbus leaders earlier today at the Olentangy Trail Ribbon Cutting. Thank you to OhioHealth, Columbus Parks and Rec and all the community partners who made this trail connection possible.
Nydia Velázquez, a New York Trailblazer in Congress, to Retire Next Year: She has broken barriers and lifted communities her entire career. It’s been an honor to work with her on Financial Services and to witness her leadership on the Small Business Committee. Grateful for her friendship & service.
