I’m horrified and upset by the terrorist attack on people marching for the release of Israeli hostages today in Boulder.
My prayers are with the victims and their families.
Jewish people across the United States deserve to be able to speak, march, and demonstrate without fear.
1-in-5 households in my district rely on SNAP. Trump’s Big Ugly Bill is an attempt to steal from them, to give tax cuts to the rich.
I don’t know what the urgency is- is there a flash sale on beach houses right now? It’s wrong.
📺 At 2:10 PM I'll join Alex Witt on MSNBC to talk about what Trump's cruel cuts to SNAP nutrition benefits will mean for families, Elon, and DOGE. Tune in! 📺
Happy #PrideMonth Northeast Ohio!
This June, I’m join my colleagues in the Equality Caucus in celebrating the strength, diversity, and resilience of the LGBTQI+ community. This June, and throughout the year, let’s keep working to create a more equal and just future for everyone.

If the Senate passes Republicans' budget, it would be devastating for millions of family caregivers and their sick or disabled loved ones.
Medicaid coverage for transportation, meal support, and in-home care is a lifeline. We can’t let Republicans rip this away.

Hate speech directed at any race, at any religion, at any ethnic group, or any identity is an attack on all of us.

On today’s Democratic Daily Download, Rep. Josh Harder explains how devastating Medicaid cuts in the Republican tax bill will be for families and communities across America. That’s why Democrats are fighting back with all we’ve got.
Today I met with Black, Jewish, Hispanic, Muslim, and LGBTQ leaders from across NE Ohio to reaffirm our shared values, listen to one another, talk about how we can strengthen connections, and draw a line in the sand and say: hatred is not acceptable in our community.
Don't believe Trump's constant lies or MAGA Republican spin. When they're hanging out with the tech bros, they're very clear that Trump's Big Ugly bill cuts Medicaid.
“This bill cuts $880 billion from Medicaid over a decade.”

Trump's Big Ugly Bill is a big ugly disaster for Ohioans.
Costs are rising and the economy is on edge due to Trump's policies. Taking away health care and nutrition benefits on top of that would be a gut punch for everyday people.

Cutting basic nutrition benefits to give tax cuts to the wealthy - this is beyond wrong.
The Big Ugly Bill is now in the Senate. We're going to keep fighting.

My statement on the attack at the Capital Jewish Museum:
Late last night -- as Republicans jammed through their Big Ugly Bill while most Americans were asleep -- I spoke on the House floor about the political cowardice of House Republicans ->

House Republicans just passed a bill that will kick 14 million people off their health care, take away free school meals for 18 million kids, and raise our deficit.
Now it goes to the Senate but we need to keep fighting.

I voted NO on Trump's Big Ugly Bill. This bill is a scam and a rip-off. Making people's lives worse, raising their costs, and punishing people in need.
This bill would mean at least 770,000 Ohioans lose Medicaid and 450,000 Ohioans lose SNAP.
This fight isn't over.
In a few minutes we will vote on Trump's Big Ugly Bill.
If this bill becomes law, hundreds of thousands of Ohioans will lose their health care and lose their nutrition benefits - at a time when prices keep going up.
That's a Hell No for me.
Tonight, I spoke out in the Rules Committee against the cold, calculated cuts in Trump’s Big Bad Ugly Bill and filed an amendment to undo their SNAP cuts targeting families.
This bill ignores the real lives of working class families and makes their lives harder, not easier.
